I'm still wondering what Gamespot and "The Lost Gamer" were smoking when they saw the two versions side by side and declared the 360 version "crisper" with such a difference in resolution.
I would like Arc controls in fps, but only if it's done this way...

You own a PS3 now?. Also the old demo build used 2xmsaa, so it had no more or less aliasing than other games that use this method.
Awesome news!, I hope sony acquire Quantic Dream in the near future.
It'll all depend on software and both will have to show some real games working with these controllers, Sony already demoed LBP and RE5 at TGS and I'm personally looking forward to RE5 with Arc, if you've played RE4 wii edition you'll know its hard to go back to dual analogue sticks with RE4, once you've experienced it with pointer controls. The vid below of RE5 with Arc shows its very responsive and accurate as you can see he's aiming for the knee caps, the demo starts at the 3.00 mark.
Hmmm... I can't tell if your joking or being serious. Are you a parody of a fanboy or are you really this blind?
Edit: Yup, your blind confirmed, click on the vid below and have good stare at the low res textures in alan wake, particularly the nice close up inside the light house as it's not hidden in darkness and fog, like everything else in the game...

This article's about PS Eye alone, not Arc. PS Eye + Arc = True 1:1 motion as clearly demonstrated in this vid...

There is no lag in the arc controller, just watch the below video and you can clearly see his movements are being picked up with 1:1 tracking, no input delay, in fact you can even pause the video whenever he moves the controller and you'll see it's exactly where its suppposed to be on the TV screen, no lag whatsoever, and the TV screen and his arm are in clear view of the camera unlike that gif you posted, where you can't see the tv screen clearly.

nice
Does anyone know how much of UC2 is game data on the 25GB disk?
wrong place
I believe mushroomwig was refering to FFXIII's 37GB being mostly CGI not GOWIII
He also ran an analysis on the hud in the same screenshot and confirmed it was 720p. so it has nothing to do with the quality of the screenshot as he could still count the pixels of the hud. so it's as noct says the native res of the gameplay is 1024x576, whereas the hud is 720p.
Isn't RE5 alternate edition, just RE5 with tacked on motion controls?, so i'm guessing there will be a analogue stick to move the character around.
WTF, Geometry???, I've never heard of a port being affected by this before, no wonder those screenshots were doctored.
LOL! and ign said the 360 version was noticably less crisper than the ps3 version. Oh well nothing that a LoT Head2Head couldn't sort out.
Nothing wrong with copying TBH. If a company sees something that works and can find a way to improve it, then i say go for it. Kind of like how Sony were the first to implement dual anologue sticks onto their original controller and improved gameplay for the better on consoles because it was easier to move around in 3d space and gave you control of the camera, and so dual anologue sticks became the standard for the following generation of consoles because it just made sense to.
As for n...
