I am going to try and see if I can find all my original documents as I have many different consoles from the NES to Dreamcast on through to the original Xbox and Wii including handhelds I can check (I still have most of their original boxes).

The article CLEARLY states it uses it's info from VGChartz (a bit of important data DK286K seems to overlook as usual). Whereas the OFFICIAL data that's available from Sony & MS released a few weeks ago for 2010, shows only about a 2.7 Million difference as Malandra posted.

What certain closed minded people here like to overlook about the example given by doa766 is that it is an AVERAGE amount descriptor over the time frame.
If you look at how much the PS3 has out sold the 360 over 2010 (which BTW was over 3.1 Million) you can easily understand why the amount that the 360 "leads" (and I use that term loosely because that is not including bans, E74's, RROD's & etc) by right (roughly 2.9 Million) is not a big deal to overcome...

In addition to altering the tracks you have to also factor in how Forza alters the ability to control the car without driving aids i.e. it's permanently on Active Steering.
You can't have a "better" & "more accurate" simulation when 2 MAJOR factors (tracks & driving aids) are altered to be UNREALISTIC.

I just came across this and I'm about to check out my gamesave file size that's on my PS3. I do regular backups and the last one on my PC shows about 585KB or so in size but I sure as hell am not going to be checking the Museum (never really used it anyway) and stay away from the News links (especially since I get my info online way before I get into GT anyway). Hope this helps keep anyone from losing any data.

PS3 still outsold it World Wide by over 2 Million for 2010. Just like it has been EVERY year and 2011 will be no different. Especially with more exclusives, more variety & an almost definite price drop by the next holiday (though I believe it will/would have still outsold the 360 without said price drop) things will be very different quite soon.

You don't even need any where near that much. A couple hundred megs per person is all that is needed to have more than enough Cloud storage. Sony could probably get away with using a couple of 3 Terabyte HDD's for everyone comfortably.
