I have to go with Halo 4. I never liked any of the Halo games (MP, not SP) because they weren't fun for me but 343i has got my attention and i'm enjoying it quite a bit!
It's this generations modern day Arena shooter. It's still going while games like Quake and Unreal Tournament are nowhere to be seen.
Call of Duty used to be an amazing series. The last COD game I liked was World at War. After that I got tired of it.

The Crysis games have always felt like generic FPS games with good graphics.
This game started out as an Unreal Tournament 2004 mod. It's been out for a while. It's nice to see that it's evolved over the years though. That and it's original.
And the fact the multiplayer was nothing but combat racing was a let down. An id game with no competitive FPS multiplayer? Twas "Doomed" to fail.
