I have high hopes for Mario Kart and Super Smash to boost sales. I don't think it's ever gonna reach the heights that the Wii did, but if Nintendo plays the cards correctly, they could definitely turn it around by a lot. If they REALLY want to do something amazing, put a Pokemon game on the Wii U. I'm not talking about a spinoff game (even though an XD/Colosseum type game wouldn't be too bad), but one that's like the main games. They already proved that 3d models work real...
I don't know how I'm gonna be able to play another AC game without my Jackdaw. I hope they at least keep the open world setting and don't go back to just having various large cities.
quality over quantity. There are probably more games coming out or the ps3 than the ps4 too.
Mario Galaxy, The Witcher 2, AC4, Skyward Sword, Uncharted 2. These games are far more deserving in my eyes. TLOU and GTAV are still riding on the hype train because they were the latest entries (minus AC4 but everyone is tired of AC, still a damn great game).

completely understandable. I dislike a few games that I know are great games. Let's be honest though, the bowser fight in both Galaxy games weren't really anything to brag about. I mean yeah the ground pound section in 2 was abysmal. Galaxy 1's wasn't much better though. If you want a kind of cool Bowser fight I thought 3d World did a good job. It was creative at least.
you probably only dislike Galaxy 2 because it didn't add enough from the first game to feel new. It was pretty much DLC. That being said it's still a great game. I don't know why you would dislike 64..

with all the support GG is giving the game it's really turning out to be the best of the main 3 FPS titles on the PS4. The gameplay is fast and surprisingly balanced. It seems like all the hate is coming from the campaign which is unfair considering it does an /okay/ job. Nothing that made me say "wow" other than the visuals. Everyone seems to be able to forget BF4's abysmal campaign and worship the MP (fun as hell, I will admit, but still so buggy) but can't do the same...
is this dude really complaining that the game has limited lives? Also "this is basically Super Mario Galaxy with a cat suit". How can you even make that comparison? That's like saying Sunshine is Super Mario 64 with Fludd. Anyways I respect his opinion, because the game isn't perfect. The review just made it seem like he didn't even play the game because of how poorly it was written.
It was more for organization. There were only 5 multiplats (counting FFX and Borderlands 2). Call me OCD I just like organizing it.

Both great games, but I wouldn't choose either for GOTY. Honestly, to me, handhelds won this year. Both of them have at least one game that exceeded my expectations by far. A Link Between Worlds, and Tearaway are the two games that I will remember 2013 for. How is Wii U a failure? It has decent third party support. Hardly the best, but definitely not the worst. Their games look beautiful in HD. The online isn't great but it's definitely not bad. It has the strongest first party lineup of all 3 next gen consoles.
