I tried gears 3 last night and also had framerate issues and small input lag, hope my console isnt dying.
I saved it killed the guy on his knees, thought twice about it, killed the other guy and found the synth component, loaded my save and killed the right guy.

Not really, if you already have usable dx11 code there would be no reason to not be able to just update existing code with the new features, dx12 doesnt throw past dx versions so most code doesnt have to be rewritten. For some reason people are saying "The game started as a dx11 game dx12 wont be a massive change unless they delete all other code and write it all again" or like others say "they game wont look better unless they make an engine from scratch" when just addin...
