I didn't like PAIN either, they should of bundled it with High Velocity Bowling, or perhaps warhawk.

You never know, Microsoft could be like Enron and use smoke and mirrors as accounting practices. Not saying its true, but it a company is still making profits yet it eliminating people, something has got to be up.
I am sort of pissed that US companies are randomly laying off despite the company still making suitable profits.

You only think sony reports from sales from 3rd parties like NPD and Media create?
What about tracking sales in the middle east or in Mayalasia? They have thier own firms tracking worldwide and there are going to be discrepancies. There have been times in the Past where Sony sales estimates were different than NPD data reported.
And I'm not suggesting Sales are tallied up...
3rd parties do it, its called NPD. Sony also has a marketing dept and Sales positions.
It would really be foolish to assume that no such positions even exist to track "goals", especially when they stayed they would sell 13 mil.

Actually I am sure Gran Tourismo 5 is going to have atleast twice the content the new Forza will.
However, If Turn10 (forza developers) had ~4 years to work on a sequel and a blu-ray format, it would be more of a fair fight. Both fans seem to forget that.

Unless you hate shooters and 3rd person action games, there isn't too much too look forward to. Borderlands/demon souls is on my radar but those are niche.
Sony wins as far as software selection goes, but I don't think they can overcome Microsoft/Nintendo consoles sales. Sony marketing freaking blows, as many people buy a 360 instead of a PS3 because they think that the PS3 can't play DVD's and only blu-ray movies.
