The graphics were cool and some of the special moves, but most characters were no fun at all. The story was cheesy as well.
I hope the Next Gen MK has it rated "R". The whole reason the game was so great in pop culture in the 90's was because of the over the top gore.

The only cool thing was the free fall stuff, but that got old after a couple rounds. The story also made no Effing sense. "RAGE?" The special moves were cool, but some of the DC characters blew.
Mortal Kombat Vs DC "sorta" Bombed. People bought it and then resold it asap. I gave it a rent, and was glad I didn't waste 60. Also the series has degraded back to 2 "fatality" ? Are you serious Boon?
I always that the conventant was weak in comparison to the Locust, Chimera, and Helghast.
They really don't seem ruthless in a epic level. I understand that bombard and do that crap, but in comparison to the other alien video game villains they are weak sauce.
Of course the most ruthless "alien video game villains" were the Zerg.

I looked through the ad twice and couldn't find anything related to the sale. Only saw last page with videogames, nothing mentioning the sale however.
Please explain how trophies are half baked.
Both systems are the same, the Trophy system however has the Platinum which IMHO means you mastered that game. 10000 vs. a platinum trophy.
If home was well executed and brought the features that were talked about a year ago.For example a actual trophy room or rewarding players object for platinum trophies would win by a landslide and probably push more software toward ps3 versions.
The real question is if PS3 does get DLC "down the road" will it still sell?
i.e. PS3 is still due for GTA4 DLC, just not the same as the 360 which will also get that DLC probably.
It would be real bad business to release DLC for Fallout 3 6+ months after the game has already been out. Most people by that time would of traded the game in or got bored of it, like GTA4.

Cross Game chat would be instant and save you money. I am not going to call some guy in another country to play Socom etc.
