To many that is like 1 game purchase.
I average about 15 games a year multiplatform. So it is a big deal for some people especially those on a tight budget.

I wouldn't consider getting on a vehicle a glitch. Afterall you start the level from the same type of vehicle. If you weren't meant to get on it, then why did they design the game that way and give you a jump button.

I 'believe" Sony still has publishing rights for. I.E. ANYTHING RELATED TO FINAL FANTASY 7. Unsure if their contract is still valid after all these years, but technically Sony gave money to SquareSOFT to help them out. I think there is still a agreement between the two, because of the interest of the FF7 themed PS3.
I believe Ubi also owns the right to the PC aspect, but hey you never know FF7 remake might be playable on PC as well.

But I will say, the PS3 is talked up so much because of the high expectations that were put on it from the PS2.
Technically speaking, Sony still is the king of Consoles. Despite the Wii or 360 selling more, this generations of consoles are not done. The race continues despite the competition have a great head start. Sony also has a stigma with the brand.
Man I wish they were this strict on Socom Confrontation. How on earth do you let a game go gold and ship when its missing half the features on the back of box........

Its probably SCEE QA being overburdened. Euro updates suck in comparison to USA. Perhaps Sony should merge the two, or let SCEA handle the updates, SCEE the Home Beta, and SCEJ handel Firmware.
