It certainly will be unless Call of Duty: World at War is as good as PSW says it is, but the FPS offering this year hasnt exactly been all that great especially when you compare it to next year:

Killzone 2
Infinity Ward's Call of Duty 6
and likely more its going to be pretty tough to be the best FPS in 2009

5. The PS3 puts too much focus on graphics and not on the games themselves. That is so true, the best PS3 game is a 2D platformer, it just goes to show that when you put gameplay first and graphics second you get the better game
1. Better Games. Thats only true because practically every Wii game is exclusive and unique because of the controller. And Nintendo are the best in the business who else can keep a franchise like Mario so fresh after so long

So your basing your opinion of every game one what IGN says? If thats true then i guess LBP is extremely overrated since IGN gave it 9.5 while loads of others game it 10
Also SOCOM (which must be your fav game) got 4.5 from IGN and a lot of other sites give it 7's so thats another over rated PS3 game
The thing is B&K:NnB is an obvious love/hate game hence why IGN UK didnt like it but IGN US and 1UP did

Looks like MS have indeed made a rival to the colossus Halo, i can only imagine the sales of Gears 3
Halo better hope Halo 3:Recon can beat its current record or Gears 3 will be the new fastest selling game ever created
Hopefully this will teach MS not to cut corners in the future
If they had enough money to extend the warranty they should of been able to afford to make the system out of more reliable components

MS seems to have a good cycle going to keep them ontop during the holidays, they usually always got the top selling game in december too
Its seems like whenever there is a site that give 360 exclusives good scores but PS3 exclusives decent scores just not as high as the 360 ones the site is biased

Yet it scored higher than R2 from 1UP so what does that make R2, trash which was burned and then fed to the dogs?
If this game scores an average above 80 then its not a flop since it wasnt expected to be AAA and wasnt hyped to the sky, and you know this plainly by the fact that these Banjo stories fail to get a degrees over 300
I consider Resistance 2 a flop because even though it scores a high average of 89 it still hasnt got that AAA average of 90. And R2 was touted as AAA, even the FPS of 2008 and it failed to meet expectations therefore it flopped

Even though that is true i cant exactly buy/rent every single game which gets released to see whether or not i like it, reviews are a good way to see just how good a game is before hand since most of the time they a usually quite truthful
Im guessing you either love this game or you hate it (just not to the extreme)

The only difference here is the boost is from not just one game but 3 games and 3 bundles, also with the Last Remnant 360 bundle coming up the PS3 might not be ahead for very long
Decent score should be another solid AA game from Rare
It seems like EU PS3 owner just love their sports games, but software isnt everything after the pricecut the 360 was been outselling the PS3 week on week:

And this week Gears 2 will likely top them all except Germany
Very impressive for MS and Gears 2 since it beat two multiplatform games to the top (Fallout and Fifa)
But on the plus side for LBP its still the highest ranked PS3 exclusive in the charts it even beat motorstorm which is a franchise which sold millions in its previous installment, not to mention its quite a niche game
