Sony may have more franchises but MS's franchises not only score well in reviews they also sell extremely well
The only Sony franchises with notable sales are Grand Turismo and God of War all the rest havnt sold all that well especially when you look back at the PS2 era and the userbase which failed to buy

While this game did great in reviews i seriously dont think its sales are going to be great
In europe a lot of PS3 owners are hardcore male gamers, the kind that buy sports,racing and action games as you can tell by the EU software charts and a game like LBP just wont appeal to them
Japan was the one region which i thought LBP would go down really well but 30K is pretty poor especially when you look at the GTAIV in Japan, i mean since when did the Japanese start liki...

Everyone is entitled to their opinion whether it be one sided or not

If demand ever drops they could just do a sony and bundle the console with a load of games, since that always makes the consumer feel like they're getting a better deal

Not every game needs 90+ scores to be good, they just give extra bragging rights
Well at least it wont be going up against Gears of War 2 now, so it should get all the attention it deserves
As long as it gets an average rating over 8 i wont cancel my preorder, since even though the game is still full price in the UK getting the original banjo for free makes it worth the money
But i bet if rare stuck to the same old formula a lot of people would just say its just the same as the other two, at least they are trying to do something innovative

That shipped/sold part it why no one ever believed MS's numbers but what you said really makes sense and both Sony and MS must state shipped numbers

Wow, the 360 numbers actually increased and without any game releases very impressive
Edit: my bad didnt realise, its just that the VGchatz Japan had the 360 at 3400 last week and since this story is from the same place thought they were similar
At the end of the day the fact that the PS3 only out sold the 360 by only 22,000 WW isnt very impressive especially when you consider:
1. The 120ml PS2 owners, compared to the 24ml xbox 1 owners
2. The 360 is supposed to be 'dead' in EU and JP
3. Bluray won the format war
And of course the fact that this is the 3rd year for the 360 and its still in such high demand, Sony really need to do something because at this rate they will NEVER pass the 360

I hope this game isnt too linear cause since there is no multiplayer the singleplayer really needs some replayabilty
