Gears is no doubt the biggest franchises which has been created this gen and MS will certainly not want to lose it to the PS3 even if it means buying Epic to ensure that. If they are able to take every 3rd party exclusive from the PS3 what makes you think they cant afford to keep one that they published and helped become such a huge franchise exclusive

What makes a game a TRUE AAA game is it not only scores well it sells well too, because making a great game is one thing but making a great game that people WANT to play is a whole different story which is why 360 exclusives sells bucket loads more than PS3 exclusives because they are games people actually want to play
But for the PS3 to be at a similar price, it would likely come at the cost of no bluray, no cell and no internal HDD which would make a lot of its current exclusives not possible and the console very unattractive
While the 360 doesnt have that stuff it still sells better than the PS3 so if they were at the same price the 360 would still be victorious
But if the feature set remained the same for the PS3 and the price just dropped Sony would lose so much money they wou...
