Yep its pretty strange, seems like US IGN have been giving PS3 exclusives abnormally high scores especially compared to other sites
I guess the US 'incentives' from Sony didnt reach the UK
So a PS3 exclusive didnt get a high score and automatically Edge is biased what about the majority of reviews of R2 which are in the 8-8.5 range, Edge are known for being extra harsh thats why it got lower than the average of 8
Well maybe if this so called PS3 article wasnt posted in the 360 section i wouldnt have much to say on the matter but since it is i think im entitled to my 360 sided opinion
You guys got a problem with that then report the story, but i doubt you will since no matter how poorly a news article is posted if its about a PS3 exclusive or positive PS3 news it wont get reported and will always be approved PERIOD
Well i have yet to see an article like that mainly because it wouldnt get past the pending section cause all the PS3 supporters (the majority of this site) would bombard it with spam reports
But if it were a 360 hating article it would be approved within second and reach 1000 degrees before mods even got a chance to delete it

At least it shows that the game actually has a variety of enemies instead of just one or two different ones
Not that 3 enemy types will make it a AAA shooter but its a start
Im glad this game did well so the year can end on a high note, since i believe this will be the last major game release for the year

I dont see why PS3 owners are even complaining your getting an exclusive FFXIII demo while we get an exclusive RE5 demo so everyones happy :)

Never realized Mass Effect was still selling so well in the UK talk about super long legs, also why does Gears 2 get a silver, gold and platinum award when every other games just gets one
As for LBP i dont think anyone believed it was doomed its just that it sold a lot less than many people expected it to including Sony

MS may seem arrogant now but Sony was too before they even released the PS3 but saying "The next gen starts with the PS3" and by selling a game console for £400

I just find it amazing that Nintendo arent doing the same i guess by releasing sub-standard software and hardware (like the DSi) is their form of arrogance
I really dont see this coming out in 09 unless SE stop development on all other projects and focus solely on FFXIII but that wont happen maybe in Japan but not WW
Besides FF should wait till 2010 way way too many big name games coming out in 09 and the majority are sequels so sales will be huge for all of them which could reduce the chance of FFXIII sales reaching their true potential
Considering Sony claimed Sackboy as their mascot for the PS Brand like MS's Master Cheif and Nintendo's Mario its a HUGE concern, especially when LBP's sales figures dont come close to Halo and Mario games
Fair enough Sony are still making a loss on their hardware so they dont have too much cash to spend on marketing but if they dont up the anti soon they may never make any money
You gotta spend money to make money and Sony isnt doing either
It seems like the only people who complain about DLC are the people who arent getting it
And those people own something beginning with 'P' and ending in 'laystation 3'
DLC helps boost replay value of the game after its been released. Adding it to the retail game would make the content a lot less significant at least thats what i think

360 certainly got a very bright future in Japan ,MS has really done well this gen in appealing to every region around the world
Huge numbers for LR that could be the best selling 360 game in JP so far if im not mistaken
360 hardware should also get a significant boost as well
Good marketing >>>>>>> Good scores in terms of making a sale
The Wii and its games are a good example of that along with LBP but to the opposite effect
However Good Marketing AND Good scores = HUGE sales Gears, Halo, SSBB and SMG
However if new IP's fail to score well then the chances of them selling well are very very slim such as Too Human, Haze and Mirror's Edge
Im guessing you believe Sony's does then, even after the unnatural amount of lies that have sprayed out of their mouth and splattered them back in the face
4 HDMI ports?, Killzone CGI?, 1080p games?, rumble last generation tech? the list could go on :)
Im not sure if anyone else noticed this (too many comments to read through), but doesnt this mean that the DLC is going to have a retail copy?
If thats true MS cold easily market is as something similar to GTA:SA an sell loads, not to mention that could be a worthy competitor to K2 in February
