Pathetic attempt to excuse themselves. Quality is not something you add at the end, it needs to be designed in and checked constantly throughout development. This was my mantra through 2 decades of development of AAA games.
There are many complex games out there but very few as unpolished and broken as Bethesda games and reading his dreadfully poor excuses we can see why.

Its been brilliant for me and my wife. We have two Ps5's, but sometimes its nice to snuggle up on the sofa and both play our games sitting together.
As long as you have a use for it, it does the job really well, miles better than remote play and phones and controllers etc.

Nintendo do portable... Its what they have to compete on as its what the fans expect. The limitation for their designs are therefore the powerdrain whilst keeping a reasonable run time. The techs got a lot better since last time, but they could not do a ps5 or seriesx level machine.
That's a pretty daft analogy as if you buy a pro you are getting all the other components including motherboard , OS, 2TB ultra fast SSD and the controller etc.
