not hating on cod or anything, but why do their games have close to no textures? is it that they have to skimp on detail in order to run at 60fps?

who buys discs for pc anymore...anyway,the ps3 will most likely be on 1 disc. thats 50 gb's of space they have.
yeah except the ps4 wasnt the most powerful all around, just in certain spots. while the 360 was more flexible, (ram and 3 physical cores) which means alot in most open world games, features like cross chat, game development, faster system etc (wireless n) faster downloads.better wireless connection.

consoles are restricted pc's...the end. but yeah some games dont make it to pc, such as exclusives, some sports games, fighters, and some others. so its nice to have a sony, and nintendo console (if it doesnt get emulated). but xbox? no, at least not this gen anyway, all but 3 of their exclusives are on pc plus you have to pay to play online plus your internet bill. there is really no reason to own a 360 unless your that big of a halo/gears/forza fan.

either way, im sure there'll be some good exclusive rpg's on the wii u,the wii had monster hunter (not counting portables), the last story, and xeno blades which i missed out on...im banking that the wii u will have even more quality rpgs and with hd, tvii, exclusives, a controller you can take on the dumper with you, and a 300$ starting price. seems like its going to be a great console imo.
bethesda would be the best dev to make a pokemon game for wii u. thatd be awesome if nintendo actually hit them up.

did you really just diss the wii u for not being able to play blu ray and dvd?...facepalm times 10 to the 100th power my son. physical media really is not NEEDED, you know you can play media files from the usb and you can also stream from pc's/ download and use services within the console. digital media is the new age. the only downside i can see to that is if you dont have internet...which obviously you do. i kinda doubt your knowledge on technology just a little...may i...
it needs wireless N! wtf sony? switching to this has no benefit over the current models. the 360 slim got it right with wireless N and a MUCH quieter system. but this? i dont see it, the current model is quiet, has slot loading, and the same wireless card...so your not getting quicker downloads, your not getting anthing with the super slim really. who would buy this over the wii u at the same price? -__-
transparent electronics were a thing in the 90's.
transparent n64, gameboys, dreamcast/ n64 controllers. I remember even having a transparent house phone in my room as a kid.
to add to my other comment, i was 50/50 on the wii u until i saw this, now im 100% on it. Im surprised it was Nintendo out of all the companies to come out with something like this first, exactly what i wanted on the media side of consoles. Its indeed going to be a selling point. As a media hub it cant get much better unless it could cook food and install pc programs on it. And even if you happen to not pick up a lot of games for it, its damn sure going to be one useful box. If microsoft does...
you dont NEED blu ray playback though...you can run your movie collections from a usb or stream them from the pc.
Also, media wise... nintendo tvii looks leaps ahead of anything microsoft, sony, cable companies, google, apple or anyone has put together. Everything and more is all in one spot at the same time

actually metal gear first started on the msx2 system, then ported to nes.
whether you like it or not, @Computersaysno is right. The 360 outperforms the ps3 in majority of multi-plat games, specifically 360 handles open world games better due to its ram being able to be shared, making a easier job for the devs, hence why there is sub hd in red dead redemption on ps3 and more problems with bethesdas skyrim and fallouts.
The ps3 exclusives on the other hand vs the 360s? we all know the ps3 outdoes the 360 in that area with more quality and quantity, ...
