Looks like Trine 2.
@hazelamy it's called patience!.. You could wait a day for the vids/reviews, the game wasn't going to grow legs and start running off of shelves dissapearing (they should have)
@zerocrossing yeah of course that's a role companies shouldn't play. I'm just saying it happens, to a lot of them your money first, a person 2nd. They'll eventually get canned/ lose customers for shady practices.
I'll take it! Was hoping for Fallout 4 but anything from Bethesda has me excited.
Do you guys not watch gameplay on YouTube/ read reviews before you buy a game?...I mean it can't be that many who blindly bought it just off that one presentation. It's the consumers job to do some research, things arnt always what they seem. I'm not defending them but this is just how companies roll sometimes.
Ahhh I got caught in a paradox of troll feeding. My bad, I own a 360 too just kind of erked ms didn't support the core too much. People have their preferences we should just leave it at that. These arnt sports teams.
On topic I hope it's The Last guardian, Fallout 4, Final fantasy vs 13, or you might laugh at this one but Too Human 2 < I actually really liked Too Human ..I was disappointed to find out the studio went under..saw a lot of potential in it.
That's all it is...it's a well designed console, developer friendly, has a reliable and nicely structured online service (but it costs), motion gaming for the casuals, thing it's missing though and the most important for many is 1st party GAMES FOR THE CORE, they have 3, halo, gears, and forza which if released multiplat and weren't marketed so much I believe they wouldn't have reached the acclaim they did...If you already have a ps3 or pc... Well then what does a 360 do y...
Tacked on multiplayer isn't going to hurt anyone. It's a nice change of pace... even if it doesn't turn out to be all that. Personally I don't mind when games tack on multiplayer (Bio shock 2, dead space 2/3, mass effect 3, God of War ascension) just to name a few. I enjoyed delving into all of those multiplayers, maybe I didn't spend 20+hours on them but still they were there when I got burned out from playing the campaign and if they turn out to be something you like it ...
What? The games are still turn based last time I checked... All I'm asking is they at least get on Ni No Kuni's level of combat...classic turn based belongs on handhelds now.. Sales and reviews seem to think so too, why use it in a console game when there's so much more they can do with the tech available? I'm not hating but they need to evolve a little... Shit all you do is grind and get your levels up and you'll win every battle, there's no decision making that effec...
As much as I liked 7-10.. after so many turn based games it begins to feel like your playing pretty much the same game... I want a final fantasy without turn based combat, that'll definitely get me back into the series..ff vs 13 can't come soon enough.
Ebay
I'd have to say Skyrim on 360 takes the cake in terms of open world game visuals on consoles this gen....I mean damn and the game itself is only 3 and a half gbs.
Remedy and Lionhead have been 3rd party for a while now... Pc anyone? Alan Wake and Fable 3 are there also Gears 1, halo 1 and crackdown, ...the only true xbox 360 exclusive franchise is forza.
Debating whether to go all digital next gen...on one hand, no wasting gas to go to the store, you'll be able to re download them if you get robbed , they'll always work, convenient... The only thing that'd stop me is if the game is sold cheaper at retail, so hopefully Sony keeps an eye on price drops and matches them or matches them and cuts maybe 5 bucks off since it doesn't have a case and all. I'd definitely go all digital if they do that, directly supporting the devs a...
If all means just a single studio that pretty much covers 33% of them...there's only 2 others that make core games for them.
The industry has changed since the PS2 man, aaa games now cost a lot more to make, that is why you don't see as many exclusives, most devs have opted for 3rd party so they can get the most from their games. Also the type of games have to be taken into consideration, studios arnt going to dump a lot of money and resources into JRPGs, platformers, puzzle games etc. because those are high risk of not selling well today.
Who even pre orders bro
Pokemon Emerald, Fire red, Legacy of Goku 1+2, Buus Fury, and Zelda Minish cap.
Just my favorites, the ones I finish/like and may replay again...I'll try to rotate between 2 games and finish them before picking anymore up. Never understood the people who collect games they don't even like or won't even play.
Pretty much any western rpgs...elder scrolls and the fallout series have by far the biggest bang for your buck this gen.
Looks about on par with Fallout 3/ New Vegas on a nice pc. Definitely current genish imo.
