That's the whole point of playstatiom now....it's a streaming service. No downloads no nothing. Just click and play, so of course you'd need an always on connection.
Had plenty time with all 3. Ps4, no problems really, buttery smooth and fast, the only bad thing I can say about it is a lot of videos don't work on the internet, namely xxx sites. Xbox loooooooooooooong install times and games only partially installing before you play causing you to hit invisible walls lol. Wii u looooooooooong first update and update times, battery on gamepad only lasts a couple hours, loud disc drive, can't turn off annoying background music.

Should be 10$ to own a ps3 game, 5$ for ps2 and 1$ for ps1. They'd get so many sales it'd definetly make people think twice about purchasing used which devs+ Sony lose out on all those profits anyway, and it's all dependent upon your internet connection too...it's not like you can play them if it goes out or whatever and it's not like you can sell them. I feel like that's fair pricing especially seeing as you could just download a ps1/ps2 rom on almost any smartphone ...

Maybe I had a noisy one, definitely noiser than my ps4 and pc. Either way, all that other stuff I mentioned still needs to be done to it for me to want to pick it back up again. Other than Mario, Pikman, and Donkey kong I'm stumped. It's not a great console, those 3 games are great though if you're into them type of games that is.
Ditch the bulky ass game pad, lower price to 200 with pro controller, quiet down that super loud disc drive, charge 50$ a year for unlimited emulator access/ free Nintendo games from nes snes n64 GameCube gba ds wii, add achievements, new ips...mature titles...they have the e for everyone covered, and reboot old...
I'd say Sharp is #1...50 inch led tv for 500$? Can't beat it. Looks just as good as my 40 inch samsung 6300 I got for 700 and it doesn't make an annoying buzz sound that samsung tvs are plagued with, the sharp doesn't have motion interpoloation and smart tv like the Samsung but honestly it just makes movies look like soap operas and pc/ps4 take care of the smarts. I feel kind of ripped off for what I paid for that samsung earlier this year when I could of had 2 of them sharps...

Idk lilbro I've been rolling with Nintendo since nes...and they've been rehashing the same games since. It's been 20+ years and yeah they may change a bit in their games but it's still the same old setting, the same old characters, the same old story, atleast get some new cpncepts ya know?....Sony are the only ones who consistently come up with fresh ips.
Well it doesn't show lilbro they keep rehasing the same games...and all of microsofts AAA "exclusives" end up on pc or other platforms down the line, except for Forza being the only one that hasn't. -__- c'mon you know what I'm saying. If you have a sony console and a PC the reasons to own the other 2 are next to none.
The only games worth a full 60 in the past gen, TO ME have been from Bethesda...and I thoroughly mean that when I say the elder scrolls and fallout games were worth 60. Other games? Idk...sometimes I feel a little jipped.
Nintendo is the ones who desperately need new studios. Sonys good, and Microsoft leaches off of 3rd party's with timed exclusives and makes it by somehow.

It takes HARDWARE to up resolution. No magical software is going to make games run at higher resolution.
It couldn't have been a ps4, this game has been in development longer than they've had ps4 dev kits to work with.....c'mon folks. I doubt they said it was running live on ps4.
If you don't like ps4, you're gonna have a hard time liking the xb1 or wii u. Oh noooo the whole next gen is doomed.
