No new ip, what a let down. Can't say I didn't expect it...this is Microsoft. Halo gears and Forza, have been their only true exclusives for the past 5 or so years.

Not quite, I'd still like mods, online play, and a better looking version, but if it gets emulated before the official pc release it'll have to do.

It's got free online play and REALLY good discounts on games with steam and you can get all your games free (if you really want to) Laying out facts, and since the consoles use x86 architechture this time around I feel pc optimization might be a lot better than in the past. You can build a pc with a gtx 760 which is 250$ With free games, Add in cheap cpu (amd 6300) mobo ram psu case and you'll be right around 500, and it'll run circles around both consoles. Hook it right up to your tv, throw it in steam big picture mode, sit on your couch, use your old 360 controller, voalla, just like a console that does a ton more on the side with ridiculous discounts.

Poops all over both consoles for a fraction of the cost. Why are you guys wanking on and on about console specs? If that's what you care about so much you might as well build yourself a rig. Consoles are about the software.
Get some actual exclusives made by actual 1st party developers why don't ya Microsoft? If your "exclusives" are just going to go to pc, or they're just going to end up on other platforms in a certain amount of time or if your exclusives are going to show up in the form of sequels elsewhere...well they arnt actually xbox exclusives now are they? I will see no point in your console once again if you're just going to have 3 whole exclusives with halo Forza gears.

Ac4 and brotherhood are my favorites. The others failed to keep my attention long enough to finish them.
Here's what I've noticed about a lot of people. When they own something/ have something they will defend it and put down other things. Because they want to feel they made the best choice in what they've invested their time/ money into while most likely they really want the game. Lol these are called haters.
Actually, if it's 720p @60 fps with nice artwork/textures there's no reason it can't look better and play better than a game that's 1080p 30fps. Resolution isn't everything. These console companies should be focussing on hitting 60fps over that native 1080p to be honest. The games will always look better @60fps because it retains more detail while in motion. Them being games and all you arnt going to be looking at a still image most of the time.

150$ is a good price for the 32 gb model, factor in you'll want a pro controller which is 50. I got mine for 120 from a friend luckily, but anymore than 200 for this console with the pro controller is kind of pushing it IMO. It's slow, makes annoying background noises that you can't turn off, has a really loud disc drive, lacks 3rd party support, lacks bluray/DVD/cd support, lacks trophies/achievements. The only + I see are the incredible 1st party games.

I'm a pc gamer myself and I've tried but still don't understand the appeal in multi monitor setups, the black bars totally ruin the immersion for me. Personally I just hook my gaming pc to my tv and run it in steam big picture mode, and play with a 360 controller. I never understood the appeal in playing games with keyboards and mice either lol, if a game doesn't support controllers I just run pinnacle. Maybe with strategy (don't play those) and fps games but...c'mon w...
You can use a dualshock 4 with steam/ whatever games have controller support. Not all functions work though like the touchpad and rumble and sometimes you have to reconfigure the layout. X1 will get an official driver in the coming months from Microsoft and work perfectly just like the 360 controller does.
Just release it already...
Gears is stale. They better add vehicle combat/ air combat.
