@Are_the _madness you're missing the point here. I'm just letting the console guys know that even if they don't have the most powerful rig or in the future they have to lower the resolution to achieve 60 fps for some future games it's still going to look better than that game running 1080p @30fps.
@thedivision come on now....almost every game that's released on console that's also on pc has controller support. Hook your pc up to your tv, grab yourself a 360 controller and run steam in big picture mode and it's no different than a console, well other than the fact it has mods, customizable settings, free online play, cheaper prices on games, ect. That free online play and cheaper game prices (free games if you really want to go that route lol) will pay itself off and save yo...
And fps, I keep telling them. The same game running at 720p/ 900p @60 fps is going to look waaaay better than that same game running 1080p @30fps. Motion clarity is one of thee most important things IMO, afterall you're not staring at a static image, games are in motion so the more detail you can keep while it's running the better.
Can't wait till google rolls out google fiber across the whole USA and puts these companies on the brink of closure, and then they have no other choice but to lower their service cost to a few dollars a month because they can't keep up with the immaculate speed and value that is google fiber.
Did I say Anything about ps2? There isn't even an hdmi out on ps2. I'm sure ps3 could handle this at 1080 and 60 fps as well as resogun. You guys are getting excited over something that should be standard and come with ease with these types of games.

I played 1 yakuza...the 3rd one, on ps3. And I could have sworn it was meant to be a ps2 game. Charging 60$ for it is a scam, I went right back to the store and demanded my money back. Shenmue on the other hand was ahead of its time.

I'd like to add Zeno Clash 2. It's bad in an entertaining way, well more so different, that it's good. Such a refreshing game and I'd consider it a gem.
Being a pc gamer...I get to mess with frames and resolution. That said, to my eyes, 900p @ 60fps looks waaaaay better than 1080p @ 30fps. If they can't hit 60 fps in games I'd rather them lower the resolution to 720p/900p to achieve it. Frames make much more of a difference to image quality then resolution does.
No, they have just stayed with pc for the most part. For some reason console gamers don't support these genres much. It's all about that next fps and sports title to them. Sad but true.
PS exclusives don't sell as well as xbox exclusives because sony has soooooo many to choose from, not every gamer has all the $ for them. Where on xbox 360 you were limited to 3 games. Halo, Gears, and Forza. Combine all the ps exclusive sales and match them to the only 3 exclusives xbox had and I bet sony >

Ayye I'm a 6ers fan too. You could fantasy draft a team for the 6ers or rebuild them yourself....that's where I get the most fun out of sports games, taking a crap team and turning them into a force to be wreconed with.

You realize how different Nintendo exclusives are? It is no main console by any stretch but to say it isn't the best 2nd console to have would be madness. Sony and microsofts exclusives are very similar to what you'll find in multiplat games, very shooter heavy for the most part. Sonys are great don't get me wrong, head and shoulders over microsofts exclusives because Microsoft actually pays 3rd party's to make their exclusives lol, so you'll find sequels and such landing ...
Aye bro, I pack a gtx 780 and an i5, something along the lines of more than 4 times the power of a ps4 into a case about the size of an xbox one. No heat issues at all and it's hardly audible from 5 feet away. Priror to that I had my system in a big bulky atx case and it was running hotter than it was in this small itx case. You clearly have no idea what you're talking about. It's all about material used, vents, placement of components and the components themselves.
Because I have a pc that's been kicking out next gen graphics for a while and because there's not really any exclusives worth playing, and from videos and reviews I've seen the ps4 runs relatively louder than my pc...I hate electronics that make annoying noise that take away from the gaming or movie experience. I'll wait for the inevitable ps4 slim.
