I didn't read the article but from answering the headline I can say I think it would be good for Sony to buy the MK franchise. Fight games are the biggest in Japan and even though MK is not big in Japan, if Sony was to buy it and put one of the Japan studio teams on development I'm pretty sure they would knock it out the park. Rumor has been turning this possibility around for over a week now. I was skeptical and figured the price drop would be at E3, but if this happens watch Microsoft announce another price drop at GDC as well.
Have you noticed how Capcom somehow got a Free Pass this generation in reviews and overall media coverage? I'm not saying this as a hater. I own RE5 and SF4 and DMC4 and downloaded Megaman and SF2 and Bionic Commando and Commando. I also own a ton of other games you don't know about, but those other games (especially a certain group) never get the high scores or ammount of attention as Capcom's games this gen. I'm curious as to why that is.

Maybe the game does drop framerate from 30 to 29 for a split second every once and a while. But it's nothing any normal person could notice. I mean it's not like you can see it, like the screen tearing :)

That was never the case for me. There is far more personality to relate to in Killzone 2 compared to Gears 2 unless you're a major steroid user, and in that case you might like the low gruffy voices and Hulk figures fighting alien looking creatures similar to Unreal Tournament. The way I see it is this - I picked up RE5 yesterday and it's pretty cool. It's getting some super review scores too. I'll go a step further and give the finger to all you people who defend DLC overall as well. Your typical BS saying if you don't want it or don't want to buy it then don't it, is gay. If I buy a game then it's obvious I want the game and all it provides, but since DLC arrived on the scene it's been a way for publishers to avoid putting the content on the disc, or even worse, paying to unlock what's already there. DLC should be free unless it's like Little Big Planet with the Street Fighter...
