I prefer arcade racers and it it looks like great fun.
Because technically the "service" is really only for multiplayer and PS3 has the better online multiplayer performance wise.
This makes sense in a lot of ways. A Fall 2010 launch of the new system, slightly upgraded with the camera should beat Nintendo to the release of Wii 2. I'm sure Microsoft will try to convince people that they will continue to support the 360, but once sales of the 360 fall off the map because it's being replaced with the new system, a year later there isn't really going to be much of any 360 support. But that's what happens in the technology department as it always has so nobody should co...
Nintendo is in most cases a shake instead of a button press
Sony looks like what Nintendo should have been
Microsoft is late to the party and eventually will get a controller
Yeah, I totally called this. Back when HipHopGamer first bust on the scene I posted here saying that he didn't get enough hits to be of any use to Microsoft, but once he did he would flip and all of a sudden you would see him all over MS coverage because Microsoft could use him then. Lately all I see here on N4G from the guy is MS pictures. LOL
But the guy in charge of making the game has his priorities set on the 360 version so the PS3 version will stink. Porting games to PS3 doesn't work right.
This game, like the first one is really developed for 360 and on 360. Odds are it's not even possible to release the PS3 version at the same time because there isn't as much done on it. And since it's basically developed primarily as a 360 game all along and how the lead developer doesn't really know how to make PS3 games why would any PS3 owner want this? The first one on PS3 sucked. This is more of the same and maybe it turns out even worse since they are trying new tricks on 360 for it...
If they sell these over PSN I bet the makers make themselves a little bit of money.
Otherwise it should have been there and somebody is trying to rape the gamer
But they have released those 5 livery packs free which is nice. I don't think this last game has done as well as the first one in sales (even though I like it a lot more) so they might charge to try to recoup some of that money and if the tracks are 4.99 I wouldn't mind supporting it because it's still the only racer I play.
You guys might not like Slant Six, but Socom Confrontation is a lot better than the internet gossip says so don't try to breed more. Sure it started off on the wrong foot, but I play it every night and it's awesome...maybe my favorite game. There's tons of depth in the game, the maps are Godly, it has a strong community, and that kick butt real world war feel to it that you just don't see. There's really only one thing I could complain about and that's the occasional screen tear, but other...
I actually think quite a few of 3rd party games are better on PS3 after trying them on both systems. RE5 is a perfect example. If you check the internet for an opinion, odds are you'll find more 360 love, but if you play them both on the right set-ups I bet you prefer the PS3 version too.
What is it exactly that makes a company second party again? I'm asking because I swear I remember reading about Sony buying Evolution studios after the first Motorstorm, and even today Evolution studios is called Evolution studios so had I not read that about a year ago I wouldn't have thought Evolution is Sony because it says Evolution not Sony. And then Guerilla and Naughty Dog kind of in the same theory as Evolution???
Time for another price drop from Microsoft :)
For a little while there, maybe a couple of weeks before Haze was released, I thought Ubisoft was done bending over to Micrsoft. But it looks like all is right with the world again. Ubisoft has it's dirty bed partner back and plans to stay soft. Sweaty late nights of unprotected controller handling with Naruto, the Turtles, and Splinter Cell will do that to a Ubisoft executive I guess.
They have to punish the game because some fool gave it a 98 even though it has "a lackluster stealth and disguising mechanic". Well, somebody is trying real hard to make this game a big deal even though 98 games shouldn't be described as lackluster on anything basically.
Sounds like they are getting the shaft and it's being disguised behind a claim that there's some incredible new developments that can't be patched in. Why that would be doesn't make any sense. I doubt this next game fills the whole DVD disc and even if it did they still could have sold it as DLC you would think
When I say rooting for this game it's not as a Sony fanboy, but as a video game lover for years and years dating back to when Japanese developers made the best games. Once games started becoming shooter based, Western studios started to take over the spot as top developers. In the end, I would like to see this game take the Western shooter game format and improve upon it thus winning the developer battle for 3rd person shooter.
I know that's asking for a lot, but sooner or la...
Don't mean to knock one of your sites. All I'm saying is CNET is not a site gamers go to usually because games are not the focus there. I don't buy pizza from the steakhouse.
Oh and decimalator. I figure Microsoft fans are not only 360 owners but computer lovers hence the name Microsoft...like as in Windows, everybody with a computer basically has it. Playstation doesn't have that. Sure they have free online but studies have shown that the PS3 market is older and by avera...
The 360 crowd is happy because they get the game, and because they are happy it really shouldn't matter what would be different if there were differences between the 2 versions. The PS3 crowd knows there should be differences if there is any truth to the claim that the game was designed for PS3. Square Enix wants every gamer to think everybody gets the best regardless of platform, but in the end, I think it's going to be safe to say things aren't going to end up well for the PS3 crowd on th...
