280,000 is an insult. And I was hoping it would become a Best Seller title so I could get it in the new box style
The first BC was fun but the AI and a couple design choices held it back from domination. Well, that and the copious ammounts of screen tear. But now that the screen tear isn't as bad, the AI is better, and you don't have to heal yourself constantly - I don't think I can go back to playing a FPS where I can't blow a hole in the building.
Who will care?
"But now, what do Playstation 3 fans have to look forward to?"

There's that and a bunch of other stuff, so start skipping a meal or two once a week so you can join in on the fun later this year.
1- Demon's Souls
2- Uncharted 2
3- God of War 3
4- Metal Gear Solid 4
5- Heavy Rain
...you should not have them because you are not worthy.
still won't be as good as Bad Company 2 =)
I know Portal is a big deal to people, but I didn't like it...at all.
But while I'm here and this is Valve - I like the first Left 4 Dead better than part 2.
The person that wrote this is onto something...
and it's always sucking firmly from MS nipple, what did u expect
But whatever is under the hood is a beast because I swear some of the graphics look so real it's messing with my head.
Since Sony has been flooding the market this year with games and Mass Effect 2 has come and gone on the mind of compulsive gamers it seems the latest attention grabber technique is using Alan Wake for everything. Today Alan Wake takes on Heavy Rain, tomorrow Uncharted 2...again, and next week I can almost sense an "Alan Wake takes the high heat away from MLB 10 The Show" article popping up. It's almost sad how the media is trying so hard to leech anything Microsoft to Sony's lineu...
The Dishwasher. Now here is a game that completely underwhelms me. It's cool to have an indie success story from the creators club, but honestly the game is uber generic and generic isn't fun. Obviously some people thought it was fun, but I don't know why. My guess is the same people will think Splatterhouse is a great game when that releases.
I remember reading the interview with Microsoft where they said the 360 was designed for the day it could be sold at 99.
Fable and Oblivion aren't really the same type of game. And using both of those games as basis for trying to appeal to those audiences is crazy because the 360 and PS3 have different customers. Basically they decided to stereotype the West and that's why PS3 owners can't even get the real PS3 version.
I think they are funny to be honest and I actually wish the stuff was free because I bet people would do stuff like that...because it's funny, and if it wasn't funny then this guy wouldn't have wrote the article in the first place.
I'm not sure? It has made me look at what's possible in a video game a little differently. Before I used to think when a game would excel at one or two things it would be great, but Uncharted 2 pretty much did a great job at everything. After really thinking about it, the thing that impressed me the most was how natural and fluid the dailogue and story writing was. To be honest, most movies made today don't have as much charm or style

There's a reason this game has won everything it can win.
R1 was a darker, more serious story that earned its Mature rating with an unknown creeper element. R2 was cheese popcorn, and felt more like a Michael Bay Transformers movie than an interesting or scary action game.
But the bloody chunks on the walls technology in R2 was cool so maybe not all is lost.
But since it's just releasing now you might have to wait until winter. Anyway, it's pretty cool. It's got an old school SEGA vibe down pat and if Outrun were made today on water it would be this game. I'm not sure about your tastes, but I would have sat at this game all day back in the day at the arcades.
Multiplatform engines were originally created for the 360 and that's why early PS3 games were mostly ports that ran poorly.
