I've decided to pick this one up. I was going to skip it because of the monthly fee, but in the end I figure I've spent over a 100 bucks on a game before. So I'm skipping the Collector's edition and will use that extra money on 4 or 5 additional months after my first free one runs out.

Nothing about the game looks cool to me. I keep watching and hoping eventually something will look bad ass about it since it gets so much coverage but it looks stupid honestly. Kick the guy. Kick another guy. Shoot him while he flies from being kicked. Use the whip. Kick the whip into the guy and shoot him. If Epic wasn't hyping it non-stop I doubt any gamer would care, but since 360 owners worship Epic because they make an exclusive game for them the internet feeds the sheep Epic...
As I read this article I felt sorry for the writer. They might as well find a new hobby since they need car racing games without cars and first person shooters with lassos and other cheeseball gimmicks to think things are good.
So those eight 360 fanboys are pleased.
I'm looking forward to the No More Heroes Heroes Paradise release a bit more than some of those games. But the Gameloft game sounds neat.

I tried the demo and it wasn't bad if you're into wacky downhill arcade racing. I had no trouble with steering and thought it was supposed to be bad because of all the bad reviews it got. I didn't get it and won't because I can't buy everything, but the demo proved to me the game worked and that is contrary to all the reviews.
So what goes into an evaluation of graphics? Do you graphic whores on PC think it's only resolution and textures? How much does art style matter? What about physics and background effects? Honestly, I'm going to say from the clips I've seen Killzone 3 looks a lot more impressive than Crysis 2. I will admit I'm not the type of guy who sits at a screenshot and counts stuff, but if I knew what to count maybe I would know where you guys are coming from. But what good is the ...
360 profit? Did you calculate these numbers before or after the multi-BILLION $ loss from RROD? Yes, you read that right...BILLION.
So let's say in 2008 MS takes that loss. And just to be generous and for arguements sake we'll make up some gains and claim they make over a 100 mil profits in each of the next 2 years. Well, you see that 2008 is still there.

No later than early 2012 for GTA5? So Agent in the fall of 2011? Correct me if I'm wrong but didn't Jack (on crack) Tretton say they lost/exchanged GTA exclusivity rights for the next big thing from Rockstar. Can somebody help me out with what "next" means?
Only "trouble" is I'm not rich. Considering the line up I estimate 2011 will add up to over a grand on first and second party games alone.
the 360 DLC is still the same price. multiple discs are still used. the old engine, lol. let's be honest....it's amatuer hour at the 360 sausage party on ME2. Big boys and fans can admit PS3 won this one.
