The free content + discounts aren't really worth it though imo. The free games are ancient from the PSOne era, and the discounts are often on mediocre games.

Really? It's already been maxed out, most developers are just using tricks to make it seem better. Notice how the Uncharted games keep looking better, but become a bit more linear? It's because the RAM on both consoles limit them.

Xbox is a a better entertainment hub and includes a lot of features such as HBO, Rogers on Demand, Netflix, ESPN, Hulu, and Youtube. I only play on the PS3 cause most of my friends are on it :/
The mistake they made last time was revealing the PS3 and then releasing it a year and a half later. The 360 launched in 6 months. The mistake was that they launched late... oh and the commercials were creepy as heck.
@Sprud Nobody (at least that I know of) bases their game purchases on resolution. It would just be real nice to have native 1080p games on our HDTVs that can display 1080p.

Really? Have you even played the games? Just because they release 1 a year, doesn't mean they've milked it to death. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.
1 series sells well on the PS3, just the FF series. And it only sold well on the previous Playstation consoles. This console generation, it doesn't sell as well and is received poorly by fans such as myself (fuck FFXIII). On the 360, there are plenty of RPG games that sell really well.
It's easier to port PC to Xbox 360. Also, the built-in audience for this type of game is larger on the 360.
Well in the game, something big is happening in 2012. It would be kind of stupid for Ubisoft to release AC3 in 2013.

You won't notice the difference between 4k resolution and a 1080p resolution unless you sit like a feet from the screen. Btw, most 4k TVs will take up about an entire wall.
