The only problem with the current controller is the d-pad on the older models and the need for batteries. The play and charge kit doesn't give much power and it's pretty loud when it the controller is recharging :/
30-50 years from now I'll scoff at you when I put my virtual reality glasses on!
Yes, I don't care about other people's opinions if they do not match mine............
Thanks for stating the obvious. Everybody knows EA is going with a schedule like this assuming everything goes well for those games:
2012: MoH
2013: BF:BC3
2014: MoH
2015: BF4 (or maybe another spin-off)
2016: MoH
2017: BF:BC4 (or a spin-off)
The 2014 MoH is probably gonna be the first next-gen flagship shooter from EA.
I'm not trying to defend CoD or anything, but didn't MW2 gross over $1 billion in less than 2 months after release? I know for sure GTA IV took a long time for it to reach $1.5B in sales (if it even reached that high).
wait wait wait. You BOUGHT CoD just for the 4 hour story?
I'm pretty sure CoD will be on top for quite a long time assuming Activision takes the advice from the age-old quote "Those who fail to learn from history, are doomed to repeat it."
By that logic, the PS3 should've been the number one selling console the second it launched seeing as how over 100m PS2s were sold at that time.
Apple did join the console market years ago. and they failed. miserably.
They know that the console market isn't profitable in the first few years. Apple won't take the risk or displeasing shareholders with a move that would disrupt their income by billions/year.
I'm pretty sure they're asking for 60 fps games.
The only plausible way to continue the franchise for them would be to either convince us that 2012 isn't the real date, or they completely reboot the series for next-gen consoles but have the story still take place before 2012.
Nobody else knows that Naughty Dog was effectively split into 2 teams after Uncharted 2? One worked on Uncharted 3 and the other on The Last of Us. Now the Uncharted 3 team is working on the next iteration.
Edge reviews are more erratic than menstruation.
Fact: More people finished the Black Ops campaign than any of those other games.
Or the touchscreen could be iPhone sized? I wouldn't mind having that with the buttons. Anyways, the cost of innovation is always high.
Nintendo copied the Atari, just sayin'
America has the lowest bandwidth speeds in the western world, otherwise we would expect complete cloud gaming next gen.
I know it's not all about the graphics, but really. SD in 2010 should be illegal.
No games on the PC require you to use more than 4GB of RAM to play a game on max settings. 4GB of RAM on a console is just overkill and they're just going to carry on the costs to us. Also, console manufacturers NEVER add the latest GFX cards in their consoles.
Well they did prove people wrong with the Wii. But they've had several failed products for those who doubt them. Remember the Virtual Boy? LOL
Also, the 3DS sold well-below expectations before the massive price cut. People WILL buy a product at a lower price.
