Microsoft is trying to integrate their whole ecosystem or smartphones, mp3 players, gaming devices, and operating systems. It will probably work out for them in the long-run.
"The concept of milking game franchise to dryness cannot be discussed without the inclusion of the ever popular, multi-million selling Activision franchise, Call of Duty"
Saying that would mean that CoD sales were going down, but they're only selling more and more.
Well, what else could he say? "Oh, yeah, my Gears games are just sausage-fests."

Remember Microsoft back in the 90s and early 2000s? They were sued for having a monopoly, even though there was a couple of alternatives. They simple owned the whole market just like how Steam owns most of digital distribution.
Well finally somebody ends the Steam monopoly. This is probably good for all gamers. The competition between these two publishers will mean steeper discounts that appear more often.
Yeah, there's a price in every IW game. I think the Treyarch games all have a Reznov.
41,000 lines of shouting "Ramierez!"
If you've ever even taken a glance of the best selling consoles, you would see the more powerful a console was, the less it sold.
Examples:
Xbox was technically more powerful than the PS2
PSP was more powerful than the DS
Pretty much every Sega console was the most powerful
and...
The Wii godammit..
Sony: "Our PS4 has tonnes of exclusive games!"
Microsoft: "Our Xbox 720 is the most powerful system!"
Nintendo: "Our casual-oriented games are great!"
Sega: "Can I play too??"
wtf are you talking about. all im saying is that MS would profit greatly from doing such a thing as implementing OnLive. All it takes is really a firmware update to make it be able to stream the content.
"They make money from physical game sales"
Do you think MS would make more money from selling $60 physical copies that they have to make, ship, store, and pay royalties to?
OR
Do you think they'll make more money selling access to a game that's stored on their servers?
In my eyes, Nolan North will always be the voice of Nathan Drake... Oh and that random marine that got killed in Halo 3.
I grew up playing the Playstations. That's what makes me a core gamer. I'm sure a bunch of 10 year olds are growing up playing Xboxs now.
Enjoy typing that out and knowing nobody read past the first paragraph?
A shooter set in the future? Never heard of such a thing.

"20 pieces of new MW3 DLC"
fuck
How many gamers want to come home from school/work all tired and then jump around with a toy gun?
I'm not excited for anything made by Microsoft except for the Xbox brand.
In my eyes...
Zune = failure
WP7 = failure
Windows = only like it for gaming
