People seem to have already forgotten about the Free ‘AllClear ID Plus’ Identity Theft Protection in the United States through Debix, Inc. offered by Sony and the $1 million identity theft insurance policy per user to provide additional protection in the event that an AllClear ID Plus customer becomes a victim of identity theft. This insurance would provide financial relief of up to $1 million for covered identity restoration costs, legal defense expenses, and lost wages that occur within 12 ...
I just want to know if Canada is covered by what the US was offered?I still don't know what they're doing for us Canadians and Playstation.ca is USELESS as far as getting info.
I doubt Sony would even know how many true PSN accounts there would be. I myself have a Japanese, Hong Kong,EU, and US account along with my Canadian account.
I think that $25 is way too high. I think $15 would have been the sweet spot since games like Joe Danger is $14.99.
Also $15 may get you a few games if you were to wait for a sale or a price cut.
The way I look at it is by issuing a credit on PSN your giving the customers the choice of what games to get rather than making that choice for them.
I own or have owned the games listed but rather than whine about it I'd rather just be positive. InFamous I wouldn't mind owning again.
I personally think that a PSN Store credit would have been a better choice since your leaving it up to the customers what game to get.Thats just my two cents. I'm just glad that things are slowly going back to normal :)
Of course it won't. There are just people out there that simply can't be pleased no matter what anyone does.
^^This guy gets it :)
I platinumed it myself and traded it in. I guess I'll download it so that I can prepare for InFamous 2 :)
Ahh Man. I own or owned whats on that list of PS3 games :(Oh well. What are you going to do eh?
Personally a PSN credit of $15 would have been nicer. There's a lot of decent games on PSN for that much and this way your not telling people what they are getting but instead letting us decide what we want to do with the credit.
I traded in 11 or so games today and had more than enough for 2 new games,Mortal Kombat and LA Noir.
Considering what I traded in I feel pretty good about it.
Only "good games" I traded were
Killzone 3
Dead Rising 2
Enslaved
Sly Cooper Collection
The other ones were sketchy that I knew I would have sat on for a while if I sold it on my own are
Dantes Inferno
Prince of Persia:The Forgotten Sands
The rest...
I just traded a few games today and I ended up coming home with MK and pre-ordered and paid for LA Noir.
I just can't be bothered with trying to re-sell them on Kijiji since everyone will low ball the hell out of you.
Im in PEI and I am installing the OFW as I am writing this.
Its back up. Just downloaded OFW 3.61.
I had dinner with President Obama last week.
I did not even bother to read the article since I knew it's a gross exaggeration and a desperate attempt to get hits on their site. PSN is down and yes that sucks balls, and to date no one knows for how much longer. Is the short term gain by being able to play on Live be worth it compared to the most possible remorse you'll surely feel later?
I'm not trolling but IMO there's a lot more to lose by trading in your PS3 for the sake of being able to play online.
Ye...
Still doesn't make it okay but I get what your saying.
A lot of people get off being able to say the N-word and being able to get way with it.
It's like "tee hee,I said n*&#@r!" "I'm so bad"
Its so easy to be a racist or bigot on the internet. It's sad that people use online gaming and internet as a sounding board and show what they really feel and who they really are.
I wish that MS,Sony, and Nintendo, one of these company can come up with a way (software) that if a racist/ignorant word was said it boots you off the server automatically. This is why I don't often play online.
I was watching "Feedback" on G4 and Kevin Kelly was saying that he was just in Texas and he had the privilege to view a new game from Sony and he seem genuinely excited for what ever it was. I guess G4 is going a piece on this new game on Friday which happens to be tomorrow.
PayPal as a payment option would be nice.
I wouldn't doubt it. The ISP providers here in Canada wanted to start capping bandwidth usage largely due to the introduction of Netflix. There was a large consumer outrage and government intervened with the ISP companies planned cap so companies like Bell decided not to go ahead with it. Rogers on the other hand still has the cap but thats only they have had a cap system before.
