You have to have it to Sony. They are willing to make risks when it comes to new IP whether its something that of a gamble or a sure hit. Demons Soul is a perfect example. The only reason it was not published by Sony outside of Japan is due to they did not know how well the game would do.

Its would be in their best interest but it won't do jack if they repeat how the PS3 was handled at launch. A good launch line up of both exclusives and third party games and good price point are some things that will help.

Pfft! Duh. The Nokia NGage FTW! I say the Vita has the edge in tech and the seemingly endless possibility of type of game play with both touch and button controls. Never under estimate or count out Nintendo. Rabid Nintendo fans that will buy the same game over and over.

- Believe it or not there are still areas in North America that does not get get dial up let alone high speed
- Internet reliability
- Download cap by ISP

Same happened to the 3DS. A few people that I know is not buying it (Vita) because the current launch titles are not their cup of tea.
Umm. You realize that these "gimmicks" are not mandatory right?! You realize that though touch and motion controls are there you DON'T have to use them. Uncharted does not have to be played with touch and though it does implement some touch and sixaxxis control it does not ruin the experience but instead add to it unlike some other games I know. I had it not work last night. It gave me an error message and it would not work even after several relaunches. They need to improve it. Did anyone else notice when you launched the app a connection made to PSN? Why is this? Why a second browser would open when I wanted to upload a picture? Just because the engine is a multiplaform engine does not mean or confirm that its going multi. Like buddy said on an earlier post. Unreal is a multiplatform engine but you don't see Gears of War on PS3.
