Capcom is making money off the PS3? I'm sorry but I hard this find to believe since Capcom has all turned but its back on the PS3.Not meaning to sound like a fanboy but as far as this gen goes, Capcom has been pro 360. The 360 has gotten more exclusives from Capcom than the PS3 with Dead Rising and I still remember how they botched the port of the first Lost Planet game on the PS3.
Only thing the PS3 got from Capcom so far is RE5 with Move controls and they even fucked that up by...

Good to know that security has been beefed up but to we still need to be diligent with keeping our personal data safe may it be on PSN,facebook,Live and any other network.

Cue the "Anonymous" response in 3..2..1..
All seriousness despite me not really being a big fan of the "Lords of the Internet", any hacker could have just named a file "Anonymous" and with what has been going on with Sony and Anonymous, why not point the blame at Anonymous since most people think/believe that the cyber terrorist group is behind all this.
Then on the other hand maybe it is them? I guess we'll know if and when who really did it ...

Thats a matter of opinion. To the rational level headed person, they are the victim as well as their customers.
Sony haters will forever profess that Sony is the villain no matter what anyone says.

LOL. Sooooo long. I didn't know that a month is now classified as a "long history"?

I agree that a 30 day trial for PSN plus is a bit of a weird move since say you do download a "free" game through plus, you lose it or "no longer able to play it" if you let Plus lapse.I see what Sony is doing here and I in my opinion it's a bit of a head scratcher of a move.
On a personal note I thought PSN being down this long would have affected me but it has not. I used this time to be keep up on my trophy whoring by buying a few bargain bin games.Even a fe...

Uh oh. An article that make sense AND painting Sony in a positive light :S Bring on the disagrees -_-
All seriousness though, expect the PR miscues Sony didn't do so bad. The steps they took made sense and most would agree with me except the trolls. Again my only issue with Sony is not going the extra mile informing PSN users asap. I know they were investigating but what was the harm in telling us to go ahead and call your CC company just in case?
Anyway, I'm glad tha...

Option 3. Because you know that as soon as you "call out" someone something happens that just makes you look equally bad if not worse.

I hope this shuts some people up for saying that info such as credit cards were not encrypted.

What ever it takes to prevent this from happening again. Waiting a week is worth it to protect my personal info. Wouldn't a new SDK throw a monkey wrench to anyone looking to build a CFW.

You know there was such a thing a long time ago as one player two player games way even before having games being online right??
I don't know if I speak for everyone as I am in my 30's but we were fine with the NES,SNES,genesis back then with no online and we'll be fine without it until it come back.People need to chill out and experience other games that are devoid of online multiplayer.
PSN actually being down has done some good for my brother in law. He was all ...

Oh god! Here it comes. Yesterday we got the "Hundreds maybe thousands stolen from credit card due to Sony hack" article and now this. Can't wait to see what next. "My house was burglarized because hackers got a hold of my address through PSN" :/

Funny. I was watching CBC news and they mentioned but done so in a "its okay.its not a big deal". It was like "Oh and PSN sony's blah blah blah was hacked."
That was it :S

At this point do we really need to have to hear it from a cop to call your financial institutions?! Wouldn't it be just common sense by now to JUST GO AHEAD AND DO IT?! Sheesh!

I agree with you totally. No online network is safe and I personally only fault Sony for not advising us their customers sooner to the possibility of our personal info being compromised and also not going that extra mile to assume that since it was an outside intrusion, maybe Sony should have advised all 75 million PSN user to check and change their CC info just in case.
I just don't like how it's being made out to be that "it could only happen to Sony" or "Sony m...
