I have a hacked Wii and I played burned PS2 games. This gen I have the PS3 and since there's no hack I've been playing legit games live every PS3 gamers.

I've had a PS3 since launch I can't say that the PSN is not reliable. With that being said the PSN can be better and it is getting better over time.
