GTA3 blew me away at the time and what it did at that time was new and just amazing, so probably that for me.
I think GTAIV is one of the greatest games ever made and deserves every bit of praise it gets. I can never understand the huge "overrated" tags it gets from a lot of gamers nowadays.
Red Dead was a wonderful game and one of my all time favorites. To be honest i cant choose, Rockstar have just made too many great games.
Indeed, pity we weren't Kelso from the start, he was a great character. Phelps was one of the few gaming characters that i didn't like at all, and i think Rockstar wanted it that way to be honest.
On topic, Red Dead Redemption was a better game and one of the best of this generation for me.

I would probably slip Red Dead Redemption in there, sometimes when i would be riding along during a sunset or lightning storm i would have to stop and just look at it in awe. Then again im not sure that falls into the "scenery" category.
I know AC is on there but standing on top of the Colosseum in AC Brotherhood and looking around was pretty impressive also.

One thing i always admired about Nintendo, whether i liked there stuff or not, was that they always try something new and always take a risk. They epitomise innovation.
I think its gonna be successful, without a doubt, Nintendo has been in this game longer than anyone, they know what they're doing.

Stop the rugby type jostling, world class goalies on every team and make pace more realistic, whereas fast players can actually outrun slow players, then i'll be tempted by FIFA12.

I dont get what your problem is with powers in a "video game" for a start.
The re-spawning flaw you mentioned is pretty much present in a majority of modern games, unless you're playing a RPG or a game like Heavy Rain, you don't really get punished for dieing except for being pushed back a bit.

Same here, its nothing like GTA. Its a slow paced game where you actually have to think about what your doing. If people are expecting a GTA-like game then they are going to be very disappointed and probably come on sites like this complaining.
LA Noire is what i hoped it would be and more, i love it, it feels fresh and original. Not like any other game I've played, well, if anything, it kinda reminds me of Heavy Rain.
Its not going to be the same without Snake and without Kojima's full attention, so i wont get as excited as i usually would when it comes to MGS, but i still think its going to be a good game nonetheless.

Agree with you both. Graphics are nice but they dont make the game, but the problem is that it appears nowadays that Graphics actually do make or break a game for a lot of "gamers" going by the amount of moaning they do and how much it pops up in petty fanboy arguments.
