I disagree with this. Although PES does need work with the physical aspect, i wouldnt like it to be anything like FIFA where guys are jostled off the ball way too much and easily. It makes the game too messy and just silly at times.
Kinda the same here, havent been blown away by the graphics like most people. Regardless, gameplay is what matters and i really cant wait to get my hands on this.
Im the same, after been let down so many times now im very skeptical on positive previews for PES.

The improvements are ones i wanted to hear. I always felt, as poor as 2011 was, it was only a few tweaks from being great and im hearing about these tweaks this year.

Indeed, im surprised no developers have done that. They would definitely sell a lot more games than they would this autumn. Im also surprised that more developers haven't gone the other direction and pushed on into next Spring, that's what usually happens.

Good preview, he seemed very honest. The game sounds good, although im not getting my hopes up like all the other years. Just gonna wait til i get my hands on it before i judge it.
This would probably be the last thing i would consider when deciding which game to choose. Gameplay is the deciding factor for me, and should be for everyone really.
Unlicensed teams can be easily fixed with an option file by the way.

I really like the way players seem to move more smoothly and quicker opposed to being labored and clunky when moving in 2010.

Comparisons made between games of the same genre is completely reasonable and understandable. But to criticize a game because it lacks something that is in another game of the same genre, that's what bothers me. Because they are in the same genre they are gonna be similar, buts its the differences between these games that gives us variety in the said genre.

Sales wise, no. I dont think PES will ever outsell FIFA. I reckon both series have the same amount of hardcore fans, the guys who know the games inside out, been playing it for years,keeps progress of development etc., but i think FIFA has nearly all the casual fans because it is most user friendly and mostly because of the huge marketing compared to PES.

Always felt this way myself.
When you play PES you really feel like you're playing a game of football, when you play FIFA it feels like you're just playing a game. Hope people understand what im trying to say there.
Even as bad as PES has been this gen, i prefer to get frustrated as hell playing it than bored to death playing FIFA.
