I wonder if this is just going to be built straight into windows? If that's the case then why be confined to this Xbox PC that may not be able to upgraded. When you can just build a potentially better pc at a cheaper cost.

It was the only reason I used gamepass. When they had them monthly 1 month or 3 months for £1. I had like 3 years out of them.

The real news here is a switch 2 port is releasing in 2026.

I think he has a tiny bit of spine in him I do actually think he cares about Xbox. As much crap I give him. I do think Xbox would of been dead before this gen started if it was not for him.

I think Amy wants him gone. Appoint someone who doesn't care for gaming. Then just kill Xbox as anything other than a game publisher.

Deffinetly trying to kill off the Xbox decision. I think Amy Hood is trying to get Phil to leave so she can have a yesman installed to guy what's left of the Xbox division.

Yup, Like the whole point in portability. A hour is laughable Imo.

It's looks like it's going to be a really solid handheld pc. But that 1 hour battery life is a joke for the price of the system.

I love the steam deck but I only play light games on it in handheld. Rest of the time it's plugged into a portable monitor to play some of the more heavy stuff while charging.

Oh wow I thought all this was my end.

You can actually play Time Crisis again on modern TV's this year. Have a read up about G'AIM'E.

Have a look at the upcoming G'AIM'E. It's a light gun that uses a AI camera inside the gun. It's modelled after the old PS1 G-CON and they worked with Namco on it. A little expensive at £99 with just Time Crisis or £160 with a few games like Pointblank.

Looks like it works really well. Would love if they could bring it to consoles and PC. Right now it's just on a custom Android console.

I'm I really going to open X tomorrow morning and see Jiz and Distain calling up my local Tesco and Asda demanding to know if they have stopped selling Xbox consoles?

Jez and Destin really are a embarrassment.

I understand what you mean. But where does it end? Like your self I don't care for COD much these days. So a cheaper GP without code but other day one titles is ideal. But then you will then have others be like well I don't want COD or Forza as I don't like racing games. So I want GP for with day one titles that dose not included COD or Forza it's just wouldn't work.

For a lot of people I imagine this is going to be a hard thing to do. They have been conditioned for years not to buy games anymore. Gamepass is all you need.

But I thought Xbox gamepass was getting better?

It's probably just going to be licenced out. Gaming Xbox PC's. Some may be console like that comes with a controller but can't really upgrade. Where Dell and HP may do Xbox Desktops that have upgradable parts.

It is but for pc gamepass only works on the Microsoft store. Majority of pc gamers don't use any other storefront other than steam. So they wouldn't of sold much on the Microsoft store anyways.

That leaves Xbox one and Xbox Series. $300m does seem low.

I'm sure it's going to rise alright. To $50 per month starting January 2026!

Personally I don't think it's the Xbox team that's doing this. I think the higher ups at Microsoft want Xbox to die. I think they want a reason to cancel GP and hardware and just because the largest gaming publisher around and simply make and sell games.

I'm thinking this is what it's been raised so high. People like my self where only subbing for 1 month when a new big AAA released day one on the service. So they only got like £20 out of someone like me per year. Yet I got to play 4-5 brand new day one games for the price of 4 McDonald's happy meals.
