What a time to be alive!
Nayyyyyyy
Xbox was a bit of a sinking ship but it was getting the holes patched up at a slow pace. But once that ABK deal was done (a lot of their fans championing it thinking COD was going to be a Xbox exclusive) Things really went south for them.
Probably grabbing some links to overload us with and how everything at Xbox is great and best it's ever been.
Project Dark was my most anticipated game from them and they go and cancel it!!!!!!!
I was hoping to see rare replay on playstation and a remaster of PDZ. Genuinely annoyed right now.
I remember playing this for the first time on the PS4 and it knocking me sick and hurting my eyes due to the horrible motion blur and FPS.
Played it a lot on pc a year later. Then again on ps5 once they dropped the 60fps update. I'll be giving it another go. Mad how they have kept updating this game for 10 years.
I agree with both of you. Xbox best years where 04 until about 2011 when they started the whole kinect rubbish.
It's fairly decent on pc. Looking forward to trying it on console.
Apparently Hellblade 1 is getting a native ps5 port in august is this correct?
Since it's a limited edition it's fine it's probably more good for Meta than the Xbox division.
But if it was a permanent thing for sale then yer it would be pointless. As you have been able to stream Xbox and Xbox gamepass games to the VR since the Quest 2. You can't connect it up to a series s or x and start playing native VR games on your Xbox consoles (some uninformed people are going to be annoyed). It's just a bog standard quest 3s painted black wi...
See it's also getting 60fps on series X but not the Series S? Wonder why that is?
Majority of them won't buy a game never mind a $1000+ pc. Remember the $700 pro with no disc drive is apparently to expensive.
Pc gaming can be expensive. My suggestion would be watch some YouTube videos and how to build a pc. Once comfortable start buying parts maybe go AM5 and start with a budget 7500f CPU. 32gb ddr5 ram. As much storage as you want and look out for a used rtx 2080 ti or used rtx 3070 they are fairly cheap now. Slap a Xbox sticker on it and enjoy pc gaming now and slowly upgrade over the years.
So a Xbox Steam Machine but with a modified Windows. Not very exciting since you can pretty much but/build one now.
However, I wonder if they would allow you to access your previous purchases on a standard pc.
Yup and it can't be because it's a "old game". Apparently everyone wanted these titles on Xbox. They got them and sold terrible.
Yer Playstation fans got access to a 6 year old sea of thieves and over 600k bought it. Then when Forza release spite it being a 4 year old game still sold 1.4+ million on playstation.
Imo majority of Xbox fans are conditioned to solely rely on rentals these days.
It's heavily rumoured they doing away with consoles and going with PC's from various system builders like dell,Asus,Lenovo. Just like the the upcoming ROG Ally Xbox.
So really Xbox will no longer be a platform and more of a service.
That's the rumour anyways.
Been saying this for years. Xbox at some point will exit the console market and become a service. This is perfect for Microsoft.
Most of their games will sell in the millions on Playstation. They will sell well on Switch 2 they will sell well on Steam. They can keep GP going for pc since they are going the PC route for their next hardware.
The only thing I'm unsure about is. Will the Xbox console players move over to pc? Plenty have said over the ye...
Roll on next weekend
I mean it should be playable on the ROG Xbox Handheld PC.
Bungie also has dev kids since they are supporting Destiny on Xbox and Marathon.
Now just have to hope Xbox fans actually put the hands in their pocket and buy it. Look at the final fantasy sales absolute waste of time that was.
