If we use Spiderman 2 as an example. It's sold 16 million on PS5. They made that $300m back around the 7m sold mark.
It's sold about 800k on steam.
Ratchet & Clank sold over 4m on ps5. Not sure on steam numbers but peak player count was 9k.
Ghost of Tsushima on playstation over 13m. Pc about 1.5m.
Horizon Zero Dawn 20m on playstation. 2.7m on steam.
You can actually build a PC out of dead PS5. In China they take the APU out the PS5 and put it onto a motherboard. You still have to use a dedicated GPU though.
So my guess is. It's going to be first and mainly a PC with windows that you can install any sort of windows applications on (like steam). How powerful is it going to be against the medium tier pc gamer system. Can it be upgraded (I doubt it).

It's 2026 imo 60fps is the min. Very few games are acceptable at 30fps lie animal crossing in switch 2.
I have the Legion go Z1 Extreme. I believe it only ever released with windows. Unless you have the new Legion Go 2 that has the Z2 or the £1300 one with z2 extreme. Or the legion go s with a z2.
No reaching here. I got it fairly cheap. However if I had paid the £700 launch price I would be expecting 60fps on minimum noting below.
Recently got a fairly cheap Legion Go Z1 Extreme. Though I enjoy it and love sitting in bed playing Euro Truck Simulator 2. You really do have to scale back setting on anything remotely modern to get it playable (for me 60fps in the bare min). I tried playing Ghost of Tsushima on it and after setting everything to low and resolution to 1080p. FSR balanced and Frame Gen enabled getting a 70-80fps it was very playable felt smooth but looked like complete bum cheeks.

Well Xbox players have been conditioned to "not buy" rather to opt to "rent" games over the last 10 years.
Got the triple pack on pre order. It's going to be the first main entry RE game I have not got on Playstation on release.
I'll be getting it once it drops in price later in the year though on ps5.

I think the future of Xbox is going to be a app on PC. I do think their is going to be hardware but I don't think it will be from Microsoft directly. I think we will see more Xbox branded handhelds like the Asus Ally, Xbox branded VR headsets like the Meta Quest Xbox. I think we are going to get pre built PC's and maybe laptops from various OEM's like the Dell Alienware Xbox and Lenovo Legion Xbox.
