I have a gander over their from time to time and I know exactly what you are on about. I have been ill with a nasty chest infection last few days so not played any games. However if I was good to play during the outage. I have a backlog of single players still to play that include Robocop, Terminator, Cyberpunk and Astro Bots to finish off oh and god of war Ragnarok to finish.
Agreed, Xbox has a tiny player base. While sending over their IP's to playstation a few servers would also be welcome. Xbox doesn't need many.

Matter if opinions. I have been ages of empires fan since the very first. Own all on steam own some of the original discs included the aoe3 collectors edition.
Age of mythology is a series I have never gotten around to play (other than the 1 skirmish match on retold I had when I had GP).
Both to me are excellent games. If they are B teir for you that's absolutely fine that's your opinion.
I have it on pc. I also played age of empires 4 on Xbox and it was fine. I believe you can also use keyboard and mouse on console.
Oh wow 2 more Microsoft games for ps5 and both I was dreaming for as my ps5 only friends having been cravings for rts titles for years.
I know the deck is in the region of about 5 mil. That's not great compared to PS5 or even Xbox Series.
It's a very low powered pc that's runs Linux. But for what it can do it's pretty good. Plus it's up against more powerful handhelds that run windows and are compatible with a lot more games.

First attempt 10 years ago fell flat. Steam deck has been great and gives me hope this new steam console will be a success.
Interestingly, Apparently Sony recently cancelled pc ports of Demons souls and GT7. I wonder if that has anything to do with this potential steam console.
Maybe so but I'm fairly confident a lot of steam users are using low budget systems. Especially when the last 5 or so years Pc tech channels have been showing up to turn a $50 dell Optiplex into a gaming pc.

I wonder if most the issues is that people just have garbage PC's. Remember folks just because you have a pc doesn't automatically mean it can play games at decent settings.
With haptic feedback would be great.
Can you explain how it reduces Sony's revenue? Gears, Halo, Forza never been on playstation before. So this is now even more money for Sony. Microsoft get extra money as well. COD same thing for Sony. They have been getting 30% each sale for years. Same thing now with MS as the owner. Only difference is microsoft now gets money from each sale from Sony. So more money for Sony (gears,Forza,halo) more money ms.

Now if it was Forza Motorsport that released. Then I would agree. But horizon is more of a open world arcade racer like The crew.

Think about it. Sony is having one of their slowest years ever. Due to wasting time on silly live service games. Xbox with all these IP's could of absolutely destroyed Sony.
But just gave Playstation fans there games. Because they don't care about the Xbox fans or platforms. They don't have faith in Xbox as a platform. So get as much money as possible from Xbox,pc,switch 2,ps5.
