Oh well that's great. I'll be playing it all this weekend.
Had a quick go on it last night. Didn't get to play the Xbox version but did play AoE4 on Xbox. Looks and playstation great. Need to see if keyboard and mouse works.
I'll happily double dip. Very good game.
So what you just mentioned is what we call the Rog ally lol
Agreed, I loved the 360 spite it's shoddy reliability early on. I loved the console and I loved the games. I loved Xbox live and I liked Xbox was doing.
But the final 2-3 years was bad. Kinect this kinect that kinect kinect kinect. Then they revealed the Xbox one with mandatory kinect. I lost all interest until like a year later after they dropped the kinect requirements.
But after owning a xb1 3 times it was miles behind the Xbox 360.
Oh cool
I'm thinking that. Hope I'm wrong. How long did it take for GTA 5 or red dead to hit pc? Was it 2 years?
I'm kind of shocked GTA+ is now only just making its way to PC. Thought for sure that would of been on PC years ago. Considering it's a subscription.
What only now? Consoles have had this stuff for nearly 3 years now. Kind of worrying for the GTA 6 pc port if a simple content update consoles had for 3 years ago only just arrived on pc.
Looking forward to this.
Oh yes morrowind was a lot better. Even though I actually didn't play morrowind until around 2015 lol.
Avowed is certainly not a game I would pay £60 for. Though it's ok so far.
I have not played much at all of avowed yet. But from what I have played. It's reminding me of a very old title called Dark Messiah of Might and Magic. That was a ok type of game combat and characters where noting to write home about but at the time decent graphics and was fun to play for the most part.
No where near the length and fun and depth of Skyrim or oblivion or the fallout games.
With Sony now firmly in bed with Kadokawa now. I think a Demon's Souls 2 and/or Bloodborne 2 is fairly likely.
One massive mess up by Sony/Yoshida. I wasn't a big RPG fan at the time. Slowly got my self into elder scrolls and fallout a few years earlier. But seeing the gameplay at the time was very compelling. I really wanted to trade the game in a few hours after buying it. But I kept at it and and the Souls series became one of my favourite.
That could mean anything. That could mean in 2027 they release a dedicated £50 streaming stick with a controller. For just £30 a month you can stream the latest games on gamepass but also your entire digital library.
"I’m not trying to move them all over to Xbox anymore"
Fair enough, I already have a pc so potentially not getting to play Forza or Gears or Halo or Elder Scrolls was never concern for me.
However, I love the console simplicity as well. As much as I love pc gaming. I much rather sit at a desk with a keyboard and mouse for that. I also love sitting on my couch with a controller.
So this is great to hear. Finally some transpar...
Makes sense right? 3rd party publishers normally put out more games per year than a platform holder.
Ubisoft and EA and Square are 3rd publishers. So they just release what ever they can over the year to as many platforms as they can or what makes sense to them.
Fairly certain Sony is going to have the marketing rights to GTA6 later this year. If they release GTA6 slim and pro bundles. It's pretty much guaranteed they will have sold 100 million by Christmas 2025.
Be interesting to how it does. See if it interests Sony to give it another try.
I'm not the kind to pre order a digital game until a day or two before release so I can get it downloaded and ready. I'll be getting the standard edition.
