This was free on playstation plus a year ago and quite enjoyed it, i'm eagerly awaiting the new reboot coming in a few months.

If your wanting to transfer your data and not redownload you'll need to keep your PS3. You won't be able to swap your PS3 HDD into your PS4/OMNI without it being formatted, so i wouldn't hold my breath for that. But like the data transfer method you can do with 2 PS3s sitting side by side where one copies everything to the newer then deletes the older, expect this method instead. I played some of FF13 after buying it cheap at a gamestop buy 2 used games get 1 free sale. I didn't get too far in it before putting it aside for others, i may start it back up later if i can get motivated. I'll probably buy FF-2 & FF-3 cheap later on but there's too many i wanna get before it. I hope FFVS13 still comes to PS3 and to PS4/OMNI as an expanded special edition with areas that couldn't be in the PS3 version cause of space. I would buy both and millions not yet...

Some games offer free DLC like NISA, they always give lots free for their games. But i wouldn't be for mandatory free dlc cause you will see far less of it. It's like that saying about healthcare, if you think it's expensive now, wait till it's free. PS3 does have good online with no lag cause sony uses dedicated servers, at least for their games. PS4/Omni will have x-game chat just like the vita has it. I won't care about it but i could occasionally seeing myself use it if the game needs. The game lobby that keeps everyone together is what i'll like better. Having that will be good to have for all the XBOX converts though. There the ones who can't play a single-player game without someone in their ear.

Retail won't sell it if it's just a digital box to play your steam games on your tv. This will end up being just a niche product aimed at it's current users, it's mostly them who know what steam is. Valve will struggle for name recognition and retail space, which is a high premium. It would require billions from valve to establish it as a real competitor which they may not be willing to spend.
I buy multiplats for PS3 and exclusives for PS3 & 360. This will just be yet another reason for me to not turn on my 360 for 2013.

That internet does suck, i have comcast in my area and it's real fast but i've heard of faster elsewhere. The only Wii game i can think of that has graphics like a 360 or a low end PS3 game would be Mario Galaxy 2. That game is amazing and deserved its GOTY nods over so many mediocre multiplats that make up those lists.

It has 10 hrs of HD cutscenes and awesome uncompressed surround sound audio. Plus all the PS3,Blu-ray, Apple stuff in it would be too much trouble to remove. It would just be weird watching that on youtube. It would be ridiculous switching his ipod for a zune too lol. If it was to get ported it would be heavily compressed, audio and graphics worse than what was in FF13 360.

With it saying 256gb instead of 250gb would tell me thats a SSD harddrive. That's unlikely though and i'm sure it'll have a traditional one instead to keep costs down.

If PS4 has 4k, it will be there for displaying 3D in 1080P more than anything else besides video and pictures. This is likely to happen with the 3D games the PS4 will see, but Uncharted 4 in 4k is unlikely but that would be drool inducing. Uncharted 4 in 3D 1080p could happen and would be a real showpiece in demonstrating that new standard.
