Liverpool employees just moved over to evolution studios and those same people who were working on wipEout will just finish it up there. Zipper employees went to other studios too so they'll make another socom from there. If socom 5 is gonna be like 4 than no thanx, better they just make HD classics from Socom 1&2 with its online intact.
But Sony much more so than MS or Ninty brings out new IP and takes risks on perceived niche products like Heavy Rain and Demon's Souls.
@logicwins ROFLMAO if you think obama and congress is gonna pass a budget or even wants one. A budget has been passed before in the house then died in the senate like every other one has. I agree the fiscal cliff was totally made up by congress though but it was phony and they had a few years to prepare for it.
Good points but don't forget about the auto game patch downloads and lets plus download those patches people complain about sitting through. With plus, you dont sit through them, they're either done while your sleeping or in that background at a time of your choosing. Its a real luxury i luv using and you were still underselling ps plus. You actually get hundreds of dollars worth of content and game for that $50, so it's value can't be denied.
Darksiders was a mature zelda clone but a very good one. It has much more to with Zelda than Gow, which that thinking comes from the protagonist being eternally angry.
Idk DOM i would check it out but that game seems to be a forza game in name only. It would be going after the need for speed crowd instead of the GT and presumably Forza crowd. It could be good but better left on the 360. I would want alan wake and i think it would've sold better on the PS3, either as a exclusive or as a 3rd party multi-plat.
@sikbeta, xbox 360 has sold better over in the united states but not by much. and ps3 has outsold it in uk+japan. so 360=america land but PS3=UK+Japan land and this was after launching a year late.
I'm looking forward to a PS4 Motorstorm with 1080p 60fps and 1080p 3D. Motorstorm will be used to show off 1080p 3D, just like they did when 3D first came and with it's 3D playstation tv. Lunatics Unite!

That would only be a win for MS. A fair trade could be made like Halo coming over but i wouldn't want the deal. Dante's Inferno is on 360 if you want something like that. Forza would get ignored on playstation so don't send that.

You know those pics are just photoshop artist renderings of what they could look like. If they were real, then it would be big news. Both systems will look better than those when they're revealed within the next 6 months.
I think most playstation fans like and prefer the DS3, its a very iconic controller just like the NES gamepad. The biggest complaint i've heard of it are of the triggers ( L2/R2 ) buttons. I wouldn't be opposed to the idea of it getting updated through changing those or the sticks too.
No they're not real, just mock-ups from artist renderings. The real systems will look differently when they're revealed sometime between april-june.
There are those rumors the next xbox will just be named xbox, that's already been done though. It was being called prestige in that photo slideshow, they might as well call it that when so many will only play COD on it. Someone had told me several months ago the PS4 controller had a screen on it. Sounds pretty cool using it to change system settings or whatever even in-game. Wonder if bluray duece will go to xbox but, i've seen the durango dev kits sporting a bluray drive though.
Some good ideas in there and i wouldn't be opposed to a $ 600 system if it was a beast and had full BC, i paid $500 for mine and never regretted it. The $50 unlimited DLC plan is pretty silly and wouldn't happen at $100. Plus will continue to offer select DLC though.
I could see sony putting 4K in the PS4 to sell 4K tvs, just like they did with Bluray & DVD..

I seem to remember the PS3 having bluray at a time when the cheapest bluray player was a $1000 and those went down in price reasonably in a few years like HDTV did.
No this is aimed at women who like to read the romance novels, this is just an interactive graphic novel and this is a really underserved market. There's alot of female gamers who have spouses and significant others who would buy such a game. I myself would find it refreshing to see it on PSN, trophies or not. All the immature comments from the boys here was predictable and is a reason products like this doesn't get taken more seriously.
