Soccer is popular in europe largely because that's all there is there. Soccer will never be big in america because its too european and we have to many other sports and other things to choose from. One would think with it should be more popular in america with that kiddy soccer craze and soccer mom phenomenon in the 90's. Playing soccer isn't seen as very manly at all here and consider american football the real football. It's cultural is why largely for the short answer.
I got the code and i have a few non-plus friends who got it. some don't have very many trophies but received the code because they're hardcore Home users. So it depends on the money you've spent on psn.

Yeah the Ram inside PS3 is faster than what's in the 360 but the split memory is supposedly the reason x-game chat wasn't added in later. And also why Skyrim doesn't run as well but bethesda being lazy with the PS3 port and treating it as an afterthought had alot to do with it probably, but that's just my view. Bewbs are magic ^_~
I know nintendo first innovated introducing analog, rumble, and triggers first, but then sony took those ideas and nearly perfected them. Now with it's new controller, these will be further refined and added to with their recognisable sony style and innovation they're known for industry wide.
Maybe the feature isn't available for EVERY game but, i have a problem with it being taken down cause one person complained. This sort of thing happens much too often and you really have to these people's agenda.
Mods are a feature for the PS3 version of unreal tournament 3 so it's possible but unlikely for most games. You could see more user generated content like in LBP, modnation racers and far cry even with its maps. And the equivalent to 360 avatars & miis are playstation home avatars. I've had Dust 514 beta since june and it's really good, i don't normally play FPS games either. I'm more of a uncharted and a co-op online for ________ random game title. Enjoy that awesome Dust 514 experience only possible on PS3.
i've been signed in since the maintenance and after it started even. I've been passing the time playing dungeon hunter and uncharted 2 both online. And other friends have been playing their cod like they do every night. Some of those aren't even aware of the maintenance i'm sure, no big deal at all. You just can't go into the store, account management or Home is all.
Wouldn't you rather have a console that plays tons of games and is 95% as powerful as Playstation?
The N64 went the upgrade route when it released it's jump pack or "bulky pack" as it was refered to as in japan. It added more ram to the system and games optimized for it had better textures in it. Something like this would be a nice option to offer next gen for 720 & PS4.
Yeah i agree with you alot of what he says can be proven absolute fact. I would hear him as a guest on the overnight radioshow "coast to coast am" sometimes and he always had great info and didn't come off as crazy. If by innovate you mean make kinect games, then yes you'll see them do alot of innovating with Rare.

I don't believe the PS4 will block used game sales but the DCUO PS3 disc could be an example of how that could work also. Those DCUO discs each had a code and once redeemed, the disc became a coaster and useless for anybody to use. Because it's an mmo nobody complained or said anything about this, but if this was applied to other regular retail games, it will upset people.
