Would the picture imply the PS4 is that alien guy ( i forgot its name but good movie) the most ultimate perfect lifeform in the universe, untill it tries to destroy everything lol.
Plus isn't a hard sale for sony but i don't believe myself they'll go that route, MS will though for sure with one model at least.
PS3 was more expensive cause it had alot of proprietary components and had new expensive things like BD drive. PS3 laid the ground work for the PS4 and it had to do alot of firsts,now some of those can be carried over cheaper now. It'll be nice like all their hardware have been and i would be more inclined to get the good model rather than the stripped down model to save a $100 dollars.
Yeah alot more than $350 and there was the top loader VCRS, It went right with the big console tv too lol.
The JC2 initial base was smaller than SE had hoped for but is alot bigger now thanx to plus and that builds a future base for JC3 when it comes to PS4 & 720. The Plus base is pretty big and only getting rapidly bigger and that'll allow bigger games for the IGC and and better deals for us and the devs.
It was in the Playstation Plus IGC for a few months or more but it's since been replaced by another title. Some are in it for a month and others for a few months, it depends but you gotta snag it while it's hot. I Haven't downloaded every Plus game but the ones i don't download i put in my download list so i can do that later. I had already got the platinum for Infamous 2 by the time it came to the IGC so i didn't get that one but it's well worth it if you have the HDD...
GOW:Ascension was just a stopgap to hold you over while they worked on the next real GOW game for PS4.This would easily explain why its the weakest entry in the series, not as much was put into it as was put into the others.
Tell me what it is first then i may get interested. I've been more of a Uncharted online player so this reveal won't do much for me except me seeing its single player, which i will play eventually.
Well HD-DVD was an option for MS at least over DVD, i can understand why they didn't go with blu-ray. MS had publicly picked HD-DVD over Blu-Ray during that time but HD-DVD would've delayed the system probably and getting it out early was more important to them.
Yeah CK1X UBISOFT makes some good games and i'm sure Watch Dogs will be good but Naughty Dog is held in higher esteem than UBISOFT. Everything ND touches turns to gold and you can't honestly say the same thing about UBISOFT.
Comparing the 360 & live to myspace was pretty funny and i guess some didn't get the joke. It wasn't too long ago but myspace was king of the hill when the 360 came out and now look at it, it's a ghost town with many tumbleweeds blowing through it. PS4 seems to be a far better social network even but the short friendlist would be it's only thing holding it back. This makes me wonder how much bigger our friendlists will be on PS4 and this bigger list would hopefully appear ...
When the 3ds or WIIU gets a true sidescrolling metroid game, that's when i'll buy one or when that new zelda comes but i want a new metroid. I liked prime but i wanna see a true 3rd person metroid game for the WIIU. The GBA got some great ones and i can play them on my tv thanx to the gameboy player i bought for the gamecube <_<.
Shipments numbers isn't the be all indicator of who is successfull but it is one of them. Neither one just sends out shipments just because they can, they were sent out because they were ordered and they were to replace ones that people bought.
You can pre-order a PS4 now anywhere games are sold, its been this way since the january reveal. FAILTROLL FACEPALM.
I do agree that MS waiting 3 months laters or so till next month to reveal their 720 won't hurt them if it's a good show and puts rumors to rest. PS4 being just a little bit stronger than a PS3 would still be alot stronger than a 720 so that's why you didn't hear much about that. Always online is universally hated so that's why that blew up so that's not even close to a so called double standard and the facepalm would be only for MS.
@gaming101 If rumors are to be believed, the 720 will have blu-ray. The 360 struggled alot with many games especially in the 2nd half with dvd 9 so how bad would it be with much bigger 720 games? It'll have blu-ray for sure, even if it's like the WII-U with no blu-ray movies supported.
I love sony and they've been the real innovators this generation but they have copied ninty numerous times. Does anyone remember the rumble pack? And now sony puts a speaker on it's PS4 controller, where did they get that idea from? I'm not knocking sony too much for these, i'm glad they diid it and we're all better off for it. If you take a look at the official list of PS4 developers, you'll see some Home only devs listed. And i've heard from a few different Home site admins & devs that its coming to PS4 and sony was interested in bringing it over. It will be interesting to see how all the PS4 social features will work with Home. That video sharing feature will be great for it since seperate video capture equipment will be needed anymore. I still don't know if the sharing will be good enough to matc...
That would have to be a pretty big HDD considering all games must be installed and cant be played from the disc.Consoles already have 500gb HDDS' so bigger ones next gen wouldn't be surprising. You can install while you play on your first time inserting it but then it wont play afterwards. Playing from the HDD would be really smooth and assuming you can delete installs to free space and re-install later, that wouldn't be too bad. I wouldn't mind that option on PS4 to save wear...
