In other news - analysts analyze analysis. I wonder how much personal stock any major companies actually put into people like Pachter. He just seems irrelevant.
^ Look, there were some overbearing individuals who drowned out the actual abundance of issues with the PC port. The frame-rate stuttered at times to close to unplayability, and the textures - so, so important in a game that relies on precise hit-detection - caused errors in gameplay.
Those are legitimate errors, and ones that people could have complained about if they picked up the game unawares.
I don't excuse anyone who knew about the issues beforeha...
Dark Souls' release on PC caused you to be ashamed of gamers? The legitimate qualms they had with the port made you ashamed?
Not the terrible complaining we make every time COD is about to be released, or the hyper-reactions to Rockstar's unveiling of GTA V, or the embarrassments that are the fringe addicts who pass away or hurt another person because they cannot give up video games?

Well, contextually, yes - the 360 sold the most consoles on Black Friday.
But saying there's a big win to be had on that particular day is like arguing the final shot in a war matters if no one gets hit by it. "the article mentions just two examples of it actually happening - Minecraft and Dear Esther. Two games that are completely interactive and non-linear, and these were two games made by teams 1/1000th the size of the team that made, say, Assassin's Creed 3.
There are ways to tell stories without telling a story - you get the player to make the story. "
But there's an issue we're not addressing at all - getting the ...
Just saying - this platinum will be a blast to earn.
^ @LinkageAX Articles do not get approved simply for laughs, fortunately. Satire and humor - sure, those are readable and worthy of one's time. This just isn't newsworthy or even a story.
Not quite sure yet - however, what we do know is that Mass Effect could have only been made better with scenes like these.
One thing's for sure - we've come a long way from Hot Coffee.
Coming from the creator of a game where you chip at a cube, this statement doesn't currently mean much.
Let's give the Wii U some time before passing judgment.
And let's hope it always stays this way.
These games always bring a smile to my face. Good memories collecting Dragonballs and capsules.
