Further acceptance in blu-ray will justify sony's decision in implementing such a technology into the PS3...which in turn should justify a purchase...which in turn increases units sold...which in turn equates to more developer support...which equates to. Well you get the picture (no pun intended)
I thought HD-DVD was doing so well..and accounted for 60% of all HD sales. Those jumping on the BD bandwagon would say otherwise.
2. Excuse #1 was the best I could come up with.
It's just coming out 6 months to a year later.
I also have the demo, this game is indeed very good looking, a 320x240 video capture isn't going to show that. Those judging this game from this video...well you shouldn't. create a Jap account for the PS3 and dl it yourself. Thats if those of you making judgement on this game even have a ps3 *cough *cough ARCHAIC.
But..but...teh PS3 is teh sux0rz. Thats good and all...but lets wait till the NPD numbers are out before you PS3 lovers start cheering. I think it will do well with the new 80gb HD for Korea only.
People can talk all they want right now because there aren't any envelope pushing games right now... I won't even complain, go ahead talk sheet about the PS3. But when the AAA titles do come out...everyone will be silenced. Same thing happened with the PS2. I own all 3 systems, but I am a PC fanboy. To see the BS thrown at the PS brand hurts me. THe Playstation brand is what defined console gaming....sure you guys can say Nintendo started it, but my rebuttal is that Sony defined it. Every bit...
I really hope Polyphony doesn't add a similar feature to GT5. These games are racing sims, not a NOPI/SEMA show booth rice burner sim (leave that to the NFS series. Sure there is a whole sub culture of car enthusiasts who do this type of stuff...but it shouldn't be the focal point of a racing simulator. Why don't you guys start posting videos of awesome lap times, or a vicious crash on the first turn on Nurburgring? Something to show the finer features of a game. Eh oh well...the paint work o...
How did this guy bust these rumors? All he did was further dissect what executives from Sony and SE have said. And how is what the SE executive said a rumor? He said SE has no FF game planned for xbox360.
Looks like it was built on the unreal engine..or source. Reminds me of the Rogue Warrior screen shots.
I'm not even a JRPG fan, but this game definitely caught me by surprise. A must buy for me.
totally disagree..You need a 1080p set in order to see the difference. You are right about the price though, although your 720p is vivid as 1080p comment is false.
Yes this is true...to a certain extent. Please keep in mind that manufacturing costs will continue to drop..meaning a profit will be made by pushing consoles. The title of this article is retarded, as is the logic of the person who posted it.
It's the easiest to use and detects the PS3 instantly..all you do is go to options and allow WMP to share files. Then you select the folders you wish to share and voila.
Multi platform games with the xbox360 as the lead platform will always look better or on par with the PS3. I work for a Multiplatform developer and we have one of the few multiplat games that looks better on the PS3. The architectures are so different...you have to be focused on the PS3 first if you want to see a game that can't be done on any other system (PC's included). To be honest, the big name developers right now still have not gotten the new development tools from Sony, they are still...
The Wii is a monster right now. It's cute, tiny, little monster...but indeed it is still a monster. I wonder what slowed down the Wii sales?
Drake is teh CG
@ Cartesian, I'm almost positive Uncharted uses a global lighting engine. Which is the most realistic outdoor lighting to date IMO.
the Xbox and PS3 have a combined total of 10-12 million units. Ubisoft needs to get the sand out of their cooters.
You have to see it to believe it...now you can walk and play games at the same time!!! Whoa microsoft!
Sony is indeed implementing a Video on Demand service, they made this quite clear since Sony's Gamers Day. Search on Gamasutra to see some of the presentation slides they had. The service will be called VOD, provided by who..i am uncertain.
