The cars are pretty detailed, but not bat sh!t insane like GT5. It's been a while since I've played Toca on the PC, I remember it havin DTM cars and a non-convincing damage system (a la forza 1-2).

But for seriously, I am a huge initialD geek. Akina Speed Stars FTW! I could care less if the graphics are good or not, if it looke anything like the Anime, I'm sold. I can only imagine what the home portal for this game would look like? Maybe a gas station, garage, mt. fujiyama?
It's mainly for page views, advertising dollars pay the bills. More page views equal more long term advertisers, which of course equates to more revenue. Not to say that the site/magazine loses any credibility... but this is why they have these articles (with flamebait titles), we're all fascinated by competition etc. etc.
The original screen shots released by insomniac were at 1920x1080, or 2 mega pixels. These tool bags obviously were left in the dark. Way to add smaller sized images from 3 weeks ago and try to tell us they are the biggest and new.

do what I did... go to new egg, and by yourself a 250gb 2.5" SATA hard drive for 89.99 (cheaper than xbox360's 20gb). You won't be complaining about 5gb installs ever. Oh and why didn't anyone complain when bethesda made PS3 owners install 4gb (oblivion)? The game practically had zero load times.. oh thats right, it installed it in the background thats why.

This game uses the most advanced mocap cameras Sony has to offer. Animations are the least of my worries.
No doubt about it. It is to this day the greatest console of all time. Those old enough to remember it, remember it well. There were no arguments over graphics, just games... and how much fun they were. Good times.
Bottom line is Blu-Ray is the clear successor to DVD. I'm sorry you invested your time and money into a dying format. But please keep the rants and raves elsewhere.
