the game gets a free pass cus Blizzard fanboys. Blizzard could sell feces in a box and it'd sell millions.
The article. The "disease" Tabata is talking about is that everyone has their own vision of what FF must be and many from within and outside of the team were opposed to the radical changes of XV, aka, turning the main series into an action rpg. Which is such a huge departure from the prior games that it's basically a different genre.
They have a focus group to hear opinions about the game but when they hear them they are like: gtfo, muh feelz!
So what's the point then? If all you want to hear it's what you want to hear.
If you read the article Kojima is not modelling his studio after anything. The title as always is just click-bait. Kojima said was that he liked the familiar feeling of MM's studio because it has a nice kitchen. Then he adds that it was strange seeing so many women working at a game studio.
The rest of the article is just the author trying his best to twist the facts and make things look like if Kojima's turning into some kind of progressive justice warrior or som...
Indeed. This is something that has been happening for over 20 years and I don't see it changing any time soon.
Before the internet was mainstream you could read people complaining about scores on the fan letter sections on magazines like Gamepro and EGM.
but he said that "it could of been" not that "it is". ;/
People. This is auto-generated spam. How did this get approved? Are there bots approving articles now or what?
KOF could of been bigger if its online component wasn't always like super laggy to the point of being unplayable. So it hardly ever had an online presence and it's even worse in the competitive world with not many tourney entrants and then dying within one year.
Only when the benchmarks are out... And I mean benchmarks by real people not those provided by the company.
Rumors state that both consoles will play the same games, so your question is not applicable to the situation. There is no answer.
Things changed. The PS VR has a single curved screen now, so the PS4 doesn't has to render anything twice. The games are required to run at 60fps tho.
And the game's coming out this year somehow. haha
According to Eurogamer the game does have frame-rate issues but this video is 30fps, so it is impossible to tell how good or bad the frame-rate of the game is based on it.
The game's coming out this fall, so these assets are set on stone. ]All they can do at this point is tweak effects like lighting but not much else.
I wasn't expecting Driveclub's level of graphics but at least a slight upgrade from GT6 on PS3. Eurogamer says the game even has frame-rate issues just like GT6, so this is basically a port in disguise. ;/
This is not Rare dude. ND still has a pretty big chunk of people that have been there since the PS1 days. Bruce Straley for example, he's one of the directors of UC4 and he worked on Crash Bandicoot on PS1. And Neil Druckmann, the other director of UC4, has been there since the Jak & Daxter games on PS2.
In fact, UC4 itself is prove that they have not moved on, if not they wouldn't have done what they did considering the hype behind this revival.
From the sound of it it appear to be a Prologue to GT7 like they did on PS3 for GT5.
I was expecting way better graphics but this looks like GT6 remastered. And not to mention that the game has way too many jaggies for a PS4 game. Not looking next gen at all.
this game was so good. My only complaint is that it was divided into episodes and they were too short.
the combat in this game is incredibly idiotic. Don't understand what is even the point of calling it Valkyria Chronicles when it plays so differently. No strategy at all.
