Because they're working on one thing means nothing else is being done. ~ Everyone on N4G.
Sorry you took offense. You asked why people turn them off and I answered. You already knew why though.
Really you just wanted to get that last paragraph in about the delay and complain about it being unfinished and delayed. Got you.
"Most people who play Halo are not e-sports types or insanely over-competitive players. Most just play for a good time. Like I said, anyone who knows how to play well enough won't use them foolishly unless by mista...
Any of the top competitors will turn off assassinations, so that was it isn't accidentally triggered by a melee press. The person who turns them off can't trigger the animation.
The other player can still have them active and assassinate you.
The time spent in the animation is too long for competitive play.
Don't think I'll notice them being missing as they don't add much to the game anyways.
"...
I turn the light off on my Series X and did the same on my Xbox One. Never understood needing a light on a console. Honestly don't need it on my controller either. Just attracts my kids to pick it up!
This is like Dark Souls multiplayer. Nothing close to a live service multiplayer shooter.
It would be nice to be rid of this annualized shovelware.
Like what? 2k has had an abysmal lineup for about 5 years now.
For real? Whenever supply isn't the issue!
You're just as bad as the journalists lying about the difficulty. It isn't one screw. Don't be as bad as the journalists.
@Nakiro Did it do anything new? It was your pretty typical open world structure with towers to reveal map fog.
Good game but it didn't do anything new.
Boo hoo. A technical preview struggled for about 6 hours before allowing everyone in to play.
These useless hit pieces always make it to the hottest stories on this fanboy website.
Key word being revenue GROWTH. Revenue was still up but now growing as fast which happened to every single gaming company during the pandemic.
Pretty simple to see they mean it didn't quite grow as much during this year when more people got back outside as opposed to last year during the pandemic beginning.
Real difficult stuff here Christopher. Glad you couldn't figure it out on your own.
Bobby Kotick is the worst kind of scum. Would be nice to see him lose everything but we all know nothing will happen.
This is what I was expecting when they launched Home back in the day. Was advertised like a social UI for everything on your PS3. Hopefully they pull it off this time it was such a great idea!
It was such a great idea. I love the idea of a virtual hub/menu instead of the flat tile UI we have now.
It had so much potential but technology was lacking. Now they could definitely use it properly.
@EvertonFC and here is the first fanboy BS response. Only person in here making this a console war is yourself.
It was so good they immediately transitioned back to traditional control schemes after the novelty wore off from grandparents playing Wii bowling twice and ordering a Wii fit.
What a terrible reason for this article to be written. That's the reason the author provided? We can easily ignore this useless article.
"Fallen Order would have started development years before Apex released, I assume."
Same would have went for Apex. Was in development during Titanfall 2. Two multiplayer games under development at the same time.
So you never know what's next. Seems like Respawn has some freedom in the type of games they choose to make.
It's an awesome game. Most likely a year wait for you but potentially 6 months depending upon the deal that was made.
