Amazing new IP like horizon and incredible sequels like last of us, Sony is delivering on all fronts. Can't even imagine what Last of Us 2 will look and play like on my Pro. Hopefully Joel still has a decent role in this. Him and Ellie had some of the best chemistry of any relationship in any game I've played.
Nowhere in this article does it mention Horizon Zero Dawn. No clue how that's all anyone is even talking about, but it is. Horizon is an amazing game and achievement, but again, fanboys introduce something completely off topic to push their agenda. Same with politics. Regardless of the topic at hand, people somehow introduce another topic to push their particular agenda if it makes their side look good and the opposing political party look bad. Truly fascinating if you think about it. The...
Some of you fanboys are so insecure it's comical. Nothing to do with this article whatsoever but please, keep having meltdowns. It's entertaining.
If there was ever a studio to do so, it's Naughty Dog.
What an odd title. Why not lead with the Switch winning?
$700???? No chance of that happening. And even if Scorpio is $499, PS is still gonna outsell Xbox worldwide. Sure. Xbox may win some months in North America, but PS is clicking on all cylinders globally. Really eager to see what Xbox shows for games come E3. I'd like to see a return of Perfect Dark.
Was most interested in the price and it seems $499 may just be it. I'm fine with that. Any more and I would have waited. Can't wait to get my hands on this later this year.
All about pricing for me. Any higher than $499 and nope. Not getting it until it's cheaper. I'll stick with my One S and PS4 Pro until then.
I kinda felt the opposite. I liked the story in Ryse but found the gameplay just OK. Pretty pumped for TWD though. I have put off purchasing Season 2 because MS already offered Season 1 on GwG. Can't wait to play through that.
Xbox had a nice close to 2016 but as usual a slow start to the year. Halo Wars 2 and what else for first or second party stuff? I honestly don't even know what big games have release dates for 2017...it's truly stunning just how bare-bones Xbox is at the moment and rest of the year. Sea of Thieves, Crackdown, I am sure Forza 7 is coming and what else? If that's all they have--and even then I am skeptical since none of those games have release dates--then Phil Spencer and the gang ...
I'm so occupied with horizon zero dawn I think I'll wait for a price drop to pick this up.
Biggest? No. That's obviously gran turismo. Best? Now that's more plausible, but the best isn't even the game that started the forza franchise. Horizon has taken that mantle. Forza horizon 2 and 3 are among the very best games I've played this entire generation.
Damn...don't own a switch but I am seriously thinking of picking one up for this masterpiece. Until then, I'll get my open-world fix with Horizon on my PS4 Pro.
Honestly growing tired of Phil. I think he means well, but he has talked way more than deliver since he took over in 2014. Looking forward to Scorpio but if new games aren't coming to Xbox then it's going to be much of the same. I absolutely loved Horizon 3, but Microsoft can't continue to rely on the big 3 forever. Why not bring back Perfect Dark or something if you're scared new franchises won't sell? Would love to see that franchise make a return on Scorpio.
This isn't a good thing any way you slice it. This was definitely the most unique game in the upcoming Xbox camp. But it seems blame could be on both sides. For Microsoft, their imposed deadlines may not have been flexible enough. For Platinum, clearly the studio had too many projects going on simultaneously. Shame they couldn't come to a common ground and get this game finished. Since Spencer took over, it doesn't seem like Microsoft will tolerate prolonged development time, whic...
Although this game looked rough during the demos, still disappointed by this news. Microsoft needs variety and new IPs. Shame.
And 900p games give some headaches. Never forget that amazing nugget.
I also saw a lot of these same fanboys cancel their Titanfall 2 pre-orders because it wasn't available via EA Access yet. EA doesn't own respawn so they can choose when to put the game in the vault. Can't believe some gamers act like this and these are grown men with families to boot.
Some of these fanboys have wayyy too much time on their hands if they are getting upset over such pointless things.
It was nice seeing plenty of variety of games, but not a single new AAA IP from a first party studio? I'm trying to recall the last time that happened, if ever. I have serious concerns about Microsoft's commitment to first party titles now. Like major concerns. Scorpio is amazingly impressive, sure, but I thought Phil was cutting back on marketing deals with third party studios to allocate that funding toward first party...seems to me that money went to a ton of launch exclusive games...
