You missed the point completely.
The article is not saying the Wii is not a real system. Learn to read.
It is saying that if a man who says he doesn't play videogames because he has an "addictive personality" decides it is fine to play with the Wii, what does that then say about the Wii?
Have you played it yet? Didn't think so.
"Gary Busey as Sonic the Hedgehog - hide the women and children"
classic.
Ok, but the question is, do you think Nintendo will change their focus and rededicate themselves to their long time fans? Or are they locked on to the casual market for good?
@link,
What upsets me about Nintendo is not their classic characters, it's the market they seem to be going after. They seem to be more interested in becoming a Tivo than staying true to their roots. And if you don't understand the statement I just made this conversation is over.
I asked a site admin/editor to fix it and gave him what I would like changed but he updated it differently. Now I am just trying to get the typo in the headline fixed. "proceeds to picks" doesn't make sense.
I'm not sure I follow. I think the writers intent was to do just that.
Exactly. It is something of a fad. it has the potential to be more but I think Nintendo found their niche and they seem content to play in it.
Crap! The editor misunderstood me and deleted the title and named it what I asked him to make the body copy. I sent him another PM, hopefully we can get it right this time. Sorry everyone.
He was playing the Wii with his daughter (who hopefully doesn't have an addictive personality like him) and she whacked him with the Wii Remote.
Rock, I am not sure how to do that once it has been published. I will try to ask an editor on N4G.
Sorry. I assumed people would read it or at the very least read the line that says
"The writer then continues to pick apart GameDaily's flawed logic."
I was told that we shouldn't change the headline unless it is "absolutely necessary" so I just posted the headline as is.
I think the E3 thing was just a guess but still it seems like a pretty good one. From what I read no one else has ever called LBP a Powerpoint presentation. They must have saw that and thought they were being creative.
Game Critics Best of E3 Awards named LittleBigPlanet and Fallout 3 named best of E3. It just so happens that ripten picked both as a tie for their best of E3.

its like they never played the damn game.
I think this marks the first time I have agreed with a one bubbler but, you make a good point.
Yea...I am sure that's it. Midway said to themselves, "we may not be able to get all the blood and gore we want, but lets make our characters have really big mounds! That will teach the ESRB!"
This program with the details outlined in the story was announced today.
Great idea. Bubbles.
The new art direction screens look amazingly dark!
