Maybe if you are playing on a PS4 Pro where most games aren't 4K anyway but anyone who buys an Xbox One X or better (9th gen) and doesn't at least plan on buying a 4K TV in the near future is a mad lad!
On the other hand, the thing I'm most excited about with regards to the next generation is the end of loading screens! I cannot wait to no longer have to wait 3 minutes to respawn after dying in Sea of Thieves! F***!
So maybe 4K can wait a few months. Ma...
On newly acquired studios continuing to work on multiple platforms for games that were in production pre acquisition:

Yes very much! A game like Sea of Thieves for instance loads forever! It's very immersion breaking each time you die and wait for months to respawn. The initial load is also garbage.
That's why I'm excited about the PS5's SSD! Very impressive
