So the developer in her own words said she pitched it as a multiplayer game 6 years ago and then you turn around and say that I have no proof it was an MP game???
Are you taking crazy pills or should you be taking them??
How is that PR? What?? Bro, at this point I'm even going to tell you to take the L, you already own it!
We went from creative freedom and you being shut down on that front and now we are inexplicably talking about sales and G...
So you are not going to address the fact that Bleeding Edge was a multiplayer game 6 years ago when it was still just an idea and that Microsoft had nothing to do that decision?
We are just going to gloss over that? Can we get your thoughts?
As I said, Phil doesn't need to waste his efforts with people like you who are always going move goal posts to fit their bias.
You claimed Bleeding Edge was influenced by Microsoft and when Gansta set you...
So now we are flipping the script completely to conspiracy theories. Here's what we know for sure, Bleeding Edge was in development way before MS got involved.
Anything else you add to that is what you are pulling out of your rear based on your agenda.
Phil doesn't need to give you or any of your brethren a reason to buy an Xbox. You can stay out with your conflicting messages that suit your agenda.
I stopped reading at Ninja Theory and multiplayer game. You clearly have no idea what you are on about or have an agenda to push.
NT have said that they were working on Bleeding Edge long before MS acquired them. Did you want MS to tell them to stop working on the game because it's multiplayet game?
Wouldn't you be one of the first people to rag on them for not giving their studios enough freedom??
Steam and Microsoft are far from one but MS has said that future games will now release on Steam as well so Steam is definitely part of their audience which absolutely obliterates your initial statement's logic.
That's what is being argued here. Your lame attempts of deflection are not going to work. You were absolutely trounced by timotim before you tried making this conversation about something else entirely.
Hehehe I like how timotim shut you down about MS customers not buying Double Fine games by destroying your logic because MS customers are Xbox owners and Steam gamers which is a lot more than any other platform holder and instead of coming with a counter argument you ran to hurr durr there is no need to own an Xbox and abandoned your initial statement 🤣😂.
Why don't you finish getting demolished on the topic of Double Fine being allowed creative freedom b...
Bleeding Edge is proof MS aren't trying to control their new acquisitions. Ninja Theory has been working on BE for quite some time now and MS didn't tell them to scrap it and make something else after they bought them.
Was Rare purchased under Phil and Mat Booty?
Also they have gone on record saying Sea of Thieves is a game that they pitched after being let out of the Kinect cage and it shows because SoT is definitely a labour of love. It just keeps getting better.
@united, Crackdown 3 had a troubled development. They had several studios start and stop working on it and that's not even factoring the cloud business they had to try and implement into the game.
The final product we got was not the result of 5 years of work but rather 18 months at most.
That's exactly how it works. If you have more teams working at making games you are able to give them each more time because there is less pressure to get the ga...
You're not listening. Xbox has only now recently gotten a seat at the table where the decisions are made. It's no longer just part and parcel of a division that gets dictated to as far as the direction the company is taking and follows tow.
Xbox now has a say in the direction the company takes. Because of this, more money and freedom is being allocated to Xbox. They can now buy and build studios without first needing to get permission.
