Why screw Sony? When I was a kid we had little magazines and pictures with little to no info to go off of for our new game fixes. It was the absolute best time in gaming too. Why you ask? Because the hype and build up. The anticipation of the unknown. The simple fact we didn't know every little detail before the game came out. That is what made gaming exciting. You don't have that anymore. Now you know the entire game from start to finish before the game even hits the production line...
10th account? I have two accounts, this one and Silogon. I can't use Silogon cause I do not have the password or e-mail for it nomore. So, basically, I only have one functioning one. Nice try, though. You sound like a hardcore Sony fan, which is to be expected around here. Hell, I like Sony too but not to the extent that you people do. You lash out against anyone who says anything bad about them at all. Hell, it doesn't even have to be bad it can just be an opinion.
Not really, just look at the success of Halo... It speaks volumes for how weak stories can still sell to the masses.
censored, figures.
Let's see here...
I've played the series of Super Mario Bros, Metroid, Zelda, Castlevania and Ninja Gaiden more than any other games in history... I have beat Super Mario Bro's in under 5 min flat. I can beat Zelda in under 5 hours flat. I've beat Ninja Gaiden without continuing 1 time. I can get to the Bloody Moth without even dying, man.
I ahve played them literally hundreds of times in my life... How many times do you think I've played Mario 64, Zelda OOT or...
Ps3 owners, myself not included, will become even more anoying and feverish when defending their games and console of choice. If you disagree or don't like a game that the vast majority is looking forward to, expect a rain of bashing in your direction and with that expect to defend your opinion with all your might in hopes of getting your point across.
That's my 2010 prediction for Ps3 owners.
2-D vania = I'm in...
3-D vania = I'm out... Way out.
Classic 2-D games lose their appeal and nostalgia and their entire core when going into 3-D, why don't people understand this? These aren't the same games. They are 3-d action games with classic iconic names slapped onto them. Nothing more.
I'm willing to bet out of the 11, "so far", disagrees I've got none of you have even played Shadow of Destiny or heard of it. That's how sad in the pants you little fanboys are. Protect your little game and system of interest from what's important... That being the bold the truth.
They should make a new raiting for Suck and put Heavy Rain firmly into it.
Same could be said about... Oh, I don't know --
"Gaming, what's the point?"
"Mcdonalds, what's the point?"
"Online only games, what's the point?"
"Nintendo, what's the point?"
"Fanboys, what's the point?"
"95% of the population, what's the point?"
"Megan Fox, what's the point?"
The list grows and goes on a...
@ Game for whatever -- You're what's wrong with gaming today... You feel SP isn't needed and that's a shame. You also probably think online gaming makes up for your lack of real life social events too. Yeah, single player experience is so 90's... What's wrong with you?
@ xabmol -- They did charge 60 bucks for it. I have the 60 dollar warhawk it came with a headset. Now what?
@ Orange Juice -- I played Warhawk everyday, until the American servers went bye bye....
And like Dane Cook, George Lopez and Jimmy Fallon it's just not funny. It's lame. It in and of itself is boring...
Yawn... How long can we expect this one, if it even exist, to be viable to play? I mean, we spend 60 bucks to play a game until everyone leaves it for something else... I don't think so. I'm never buying an online only game again. Warhawk, as good as it was, still isn't worth the price of admission. We should have atleast, since we did pay for it, have the luxury of being able to play it without depending on others who have bought it to sign on and play it.
Bottom line... ...
You people amaze me... Drooling over these characters, video game characters at all, is absurd. Then factor in the the fact that the people doing the voice work for them look absolutely nothing like them at all. What you're left with is the equivalent of fantasizing over a phone sex operator.
Good luck with all that.
Can't account for good taste in consumers, heh? Sad... People are this stupid.
Wrestling fans have like 10 more years of THQ's junk to look forward to also. It's sad and funny at the same time. Sad because they'll keep buying them and funny because they're buying the same game every year and obviously don't know it.
Didn't Konami already make this game? Wasn't it called Shadows of Destiny...? I mean, same thing. Only, Shadows was probably better. It was a great game, by the way.
Mame has supplied these experiences and then some for many years now... Ninja Gaiden was best on the Master System, however. It was 10 folds better than the nes version.
Some of you all kill me. You are disagreeing with anyone who says they wished the game had more innovation to offer. What is wrong with you people? Why is asking for more out of GOWIII a bad thing? How is asking for more bashing the game? It's not. It's simply saying,
"hey... love the series but part 3 plays a lot like the other 2 and doesn't really offer up enough new to be called part 3."
That's not a troll. That's not a bash. That's an honest...
